Is it possible to attach a Project to the Project Board (Tasks) and to have this link automated? I.e. each section in the Project Board is dedicated to a Project in the Portfolio Management board?
There are several different approaches for this depending on the goal. We often use automations to create, and link/mirror items between boards automatically, but ideally there is a separate project list board and a dashboard that pulls from a boardgroup for filtered views across projects. It is true Monday.com does not have recurring tasks. We find that - so far at least - there isn't one tool that does *all* the things. The key is finding the tool that has feature to match your priorities. Have you explored Asana? The Asana recurring task function is one of the best we've seen for that specific need.
