this is the colors performance i come back to most often. her range, her tone, her self-possession, her joy. the music is such a beautiful backdrop to her voice and both of them combining in the crescendo from 3:10 - 3:32 is a spiritual experience

She just sang “ooh” and I’m already in love.
The song "Another Lover" by Little Dragon is about being uncertain in a relationship and feeling like there are no certainties anymore. The chorus conveys the idea of being stuck in limbo, not sure if the relationship will last or if one needs to search for another lover. The verses speak of both the beauty and darkness that comes with being in love, yet also of staying hopeful and believing in the power of love, even though there may be moments of uncertainty. In the end, the song highlights the idea of being open to experiencing love, while also being ready to accept change if it means the relationship will become stronger in the long run.

Something about her aura, her authentic voice, and the mood of this tune makes me think of Sade. Sade was a pioneer in her time, made timeless music with a unique mix of genres, and I feel like that's what Little Dragon is doing here as well. Such a wonderful find 💙

Unfortunately my dad turned a corner today in a negative way. He's on the highest level and that's pretty scary because he's in a medical coma and now we can only wait and hope.

For so long have I been waiting for them to return the R&B styled grooves, such as this, simply because of her voice and rhythm. Doing her own background vocals adds the right amount of depth. I have fallen back in love with one of my favorite groups all over again and it is so sweet.
