Once you plug in the SP43 chip and program in on your Carrera track, I'm assuming it runs in the same clockwise direction as other Carrera digital cars?

A lot of good info. I like 1/32 that you can swap from analog to digital.
You know it is nice if you watch my post on axel box it makes it even easier . Switch at base to make track run digital or analog.

I think the FT-Slottechnik chip is even a bit smaller so taht might be the way forward.

Yes again no switch like carrera so you would have to wire backwards
