    Discounts and Markups 🤔
    1.) Traditional Method
    Answer: 2,800 👍
    Formula: NP = OP - (OP x %)
    x = 3,500 - (3,500 * 20%)
    x = 3,500 - 700
    x = 2,800 ✓
    2.) SPEED Technique (with Options)
    Answer: D.) P1,500 👆
    Solution:
    NP/ Disc Price =
    1,500 - (1,500 * 20%)
    = 1,500 - 300
    = 1,200 ✓
    Or the Ratio Rotation to the next lesson. 😅☺️
    Thanks, Coach. Aja! ☺️♥️🙏

    What is the full price of an itemthat costs P1200 after a 20% discount?
    Answer: D. P1500
    1200 = x - (x times 20%)
    1200 = 1500 - (x times 20%)
    = 1500 - (1500 times .20)
    = 1500 - (300)
    1200 = 1200

    You have to complete the equation and explain how to arrive at 800.. (By Transposition it shd be 720/.90 = 800)... and not solving it by trial and error.. Paano kung walang pagpipiliang sagot... Thanks

    The OP is 3500 what is the NP after 20%?
    3500 X 20% = 700
    3500 - 700 = 2,800
    New Price = 2,800
