So many people watch episodes of cooking videos like this and worry if they can’t get the same ingredients as are being used. You showing substations and shortcuts, along with confident ‘don’t worry about it’ comments are very refreshing and reassuring.
I make this all the time but make it saucy instead of soupy and add green beans. We were even saying last night that we'd put it on the menu for next week. Good timing, Aaron!
@@AaronandClaire I think you should add Ramen eggs to one of your recipes. I saw a really amazing instructional video online. I haven’t tried it yet… I’m so hoping they work like the video. My mother and I both love Ramen eggs! 🫦
Pretty sure I make the same face Claire did when having the soft boiled egg that had been sitting in the broth for a while; the flavour is always sooooo gooooood 😋😋😋
Can't tell which part of the video is my favourite - I think Claire eating and explaining it all is probably the top, but every segment of this video is crucial. You guys are great.
Udon is not al dente, at all!! Al dente means that the pasta is still firm when it’s served. Udon’s texture it’s quite mushy. I love udon also because of their texture.
Aaron I love ur recipes. Iam Puertorican but I love Korean, japenes, all asian foods and ur videos help me a lot and I learn u are very specifit about cooking. I so glad that in my home town Hmart are open and I buy everything most the essencial ingredientes. Thnx for ur time to teaching us about cooking asian foods. Hugs to Claire that she really enjoy tasted the food🤣🥲😋. I always washing ur videos every single day. My respect Julia From Boston Massachussttes.♥ God bless♥
Thank you so much for this amazing recipe! I made it yesterday and it didn’t take that long given the amazing well balanced taste ❤️ honestly tasted like a restaurant even though I skipped the MSG/egg and used the pre made curry instead of S&B I love that you use techniques like mixing to make it faster without compromising taste
I just finished eating lunch & watching Claire try your Curry Udon made me hungry again! Way To Go Claire!!✌🏻Thank you for this wonderful dish! I am throwing a Birthday party this Friday for my son Montgomery & we are going to making curry! This dish will be perfect! Thank you Aaron!! Have a wonderful smiley week!
That looked super yummy and i'm not much into curry - but i think Claire could make me want to try eating cardboard noodles in anything. She makes everything look deeeelish! Nice job, you two!
The box mix tastes good, but there's an after taste that's unpleasant and stomach doesn't digest the meal very well. I worry that the unpleasant after taste is a chemical preservative used to lengthen the shelf life of their product. I've found that recipes from scratch are even tastier and healthier. Can't wait to try yours
Very tasty 😋 Had it today and the egg in the broth was delicious 🤤 Thanks so much for motivating to venture out and try new things. You both are so much fun to watch.🤗
I have been converting so many of your recipes and techniques to *vegan* (don't hate me!) and your curry base is MONEY. There are so many things to substitute for similar flavors, and I make my own Worcestershire sauce! Thank you as always for your culinary skills and creative and entertaining videos. And if it's really Claire's birthday (the soft-boiled egg?) Then happy birthday to you!
Thank you so much. I would have run out of inspiration what to cook long ago without you. Could you do some sweets or desserts sometime? Greetings from Germany
Yummy curry udon....😋 Aaron, can share any simple & easy recipe using canned food? Sometimes there's a lazy day, only want to make a quick easy meal to go. Thank you.
How would the recipe change if I used the premade golden curry? Also, can I do this recipe if I dont have a blender or grater for the carrots and onions and all the vegetables?
That looked so good to me, everything about it! Where did you get those wimpy looking green onions tho? Ha, ha, those looked like the only kind I can ever find here. Usually your's are like mega green onion💪 or super carrot 💪. Hope you both have a great weekend.
Ooooo really like the look of this one, looks so tasty. Also I was looking at your merch and it's all so cute, just wondering if you think you might ever do any "more green onion more delicious" or "I'm not responsible" merch? 😍
Can you use pork instead of beef using the same cooking method? Clair I don't know how you stay thin eating all the delicious food Aaron makes. Lucky you 😀
Any cut of beef works fine. If possible, get a presliced beef. If not, you can freeze a chunk of steak like 20 mins and then, slice it up as thinly as you can. Don't worry about it! 😊🙌
That looks absolutely delicious. If we were to use the golden curry packets instead of our own veggies would you still use the same amount of dashi broth? (:
Aaron, love your videos! Who ever thought that someone could do so well on UA-cam just trying to fatten up his wife? 🤣 Your channel is my go to channel for Korean food! 😋
One more time from me: I like a strong curry flavor. Is it as easy as adding more curry powder to the mix? Can I taste test it as I add each tablespoonful?

You should try this version! you're gonna love it so much Brynn!😍😍
Green beans or some other pre-cooked vegetables are a great idea to flesh this out!
What do you do to make it saucy?
@@TheWoolyWolf Corn starch slurry! Or if you make it with the premade blocks, just add less water. It has a thickener in it already.
Same as me!! I just cooked it and added one egg and cooked it like 10 minutes but then they just become creamy instead of soupy🥲
man y'all deserve 1 million. ive been following since 200k
Thanks Stella!!! 😍😍😍

do an episode where Claire makes the food and does all the hand movements, and you taste test and do the dishes haha
