Fede Alvarez made a short film many years ago, before jumping to Hollywood, called 'Panic Attack' (spectacular for that time). In the behind-the-scenes footage, you could see that he used 3ds Max. If I'm not mistaken, Sam Raimi saw it and hired him for his first movie. that short is one of the reasons i am a 3d guy now. Thanks Eloi!!
Thank you for the monthly update! Man, the stuff in 3dsMax is only for archviz section continues to impress me like never before. Amazing what people can do with this software, yet it keeps on being laughed at and continues living in the shadow of its competition.
Amazing once again. But to be fair, especially towards Autodesks efforts this month and actually for the past 12 months now, this series should be renamed now to “3dsmax plugins and user created content News”
Actually it's almost always about plugins and old artists who no longer have the strength and desire to change their pipelines to a more modern one. For artists with a big background there is really no point in it, but for beginners I would advise to forget everything related to autodesk because it is an investment that will not pay off.
The thing tautodesk need to do about 3ds max is updating the skeletal mesh importer. I have always to use blender when I need to work with rigged character because it takes ages to import in 3ds max
It was such a good idea, but the flawed execution is what killed MCG. Nowadays, it should be updated to resemble something like Blender's geometry nodes.
lol, you seem so butt hurt, those hobbyists and amateurs will become the professionals of the future as the old folks will fade away..3ds Max is mostly used by old 3d veterans who are having hard time to adapte to moderen changes. I Myself use Maya but i wish if Autodek woud rewrite the base code from scratch and make better UI/UX, but they simply don't care.

Magnifique, merci beaucoup
Awesome updates!
Can u pls help to ask max dev team to release a proper MCG soon?
MCG has been nothing but a forgotten feature that needs a huge update...
Are you dreaming?😂
It was such a good idea, but the flawed execution is what killed MCG. Nowadays, it should be updated to resemble something like Blender's geometry nodes.
But you can export cat rigs to game engines...Unreal for sure as I used it on all models
Awesome! :)
It's only amateurs and hobbyists ragging on 3dsmax, who cares what they say. We know the truth. It's the #1 3d generalist tool in the pro industry.
Agreed. Blender is for kids.

@@andvfx I was joking around, but that sounds awesome. Have fun mate!
The learning time for 3DS MAX is too long and the cost is too high.
nice but i will not buying it..
My brother I can hardly understand your accent, you are putting the wrong emphasis on a lot of syllables
