#5 on demand loading made Opus an order of magnitude more useable for bigger projects compared to Play. All 10 features are fantastic, it is definitely worth the upgrade. I have several other libraries and Opus stands apart from the crowd for sound, usability, and stability. I play orchestral scores for a hobby, there are a few examples on my channel. Thanks for the video and thanks EastWest for a wonderful product!
Hey, Gary -- I am an educator, too, and your post made me recall the axiom "The way to learn something is to teach it" Certainly Opus has so many features that it will be a mountain to climb. . . but what a view (so to speak). Good luck!
Hello Ryan, can we use all the libraries in East West with Opus, or is it reserved for a specific selection? I own (under PLAY) EW Platinium Plus, Goliath, MOR 1, SD2, Gypsy, VOP, and RA and Symphonic of Choirs with the .NKC patches that i use with Kontakt. Thanks
Any chance the ability for users to program their own microtuning will be enabled in Opus? And can EastWest provide documentation about the included microtunings so that composers can match other instruments to them? For example, by how many cents are notes adjusted in the "Afro 1" or "Arabic Common" tunings?
Are y'all ever going to sell just the word builder that others can use to "create" singers from anyone that'll give them the phonetics in audio.. That you can cut and paste that audio into the builder? That would be really cool!
Opus is now for 398 dollars. When you buy it without subscription which banks we will "not" have? I couldnt find any information about this on their website.
If you buy Hollywood Orchestra Opus Edition, you just get Hollywood Orchestra. You would need to buy our other titles separately or you can get ComposerCloud+ and then you will get access to our entire catalog, as well as Hollywood Orchestra Opus Edition.
Opus needs own detailed midi interface, for internal one channel and making all of articulations, attacks, velocity and etc..maybe in every notas we have to choose our preset sound or something like this..Ezkeys and ezbass is very good about their own internal midi interface and skills..If Opus does it,no one can kill this library.
I'm late to the party looks great. You guys are the best long time EW/Soundsonline user. I like your concise video format.

Fantastic video - a great reminder about creating Macros to combine CC1 and CC11, totally missed this feature
I subscribe to this and it’s blown me and my students away, but man! Have I got tons to learn. Great video x

Always great content Ryan. Awesome!
You're amazing, It would be great if you could add plugins like delays, compressors, tape emulation and stuff
I'm really enjoying the demo and looking forward to see what I can come up with!
Excellent presentation, really liked the short piano demo!

What's good! I own EastWest Libraries since 2010...is it possible to just download the OPUS player and load the libraries? Thanks!

The 11th reason is having Ryan as your instructor
Is there a place to find all the correct track delay values for each articulation for Opus Orchestra?

I love Opus, I love East West. Thank you guys!
Is pitch bend now added to OPUS?
Wow..top🎶🤛🎵
How do you get Opus? Can you use it with the ComposerX plan?
🎹 Is opus optimized for M1 Silicon chips?🤔
Yes!
i keep getting an error notification when trying to download individual sounds. Any tips on where to set downloads or what to do to prevent this?

@@EWQLTutorials H O opus edition including Orchestrator?
Are moods essentially EQ? Or also mic positions?
EQ, mic positions, but they also access different velocity layers depending on the mood.
Will this work in Mac OS Safari 10.12.6?

i bought opus during the sale about a week ago, but i didnt get forbidden planet.... false advertising
If you bought Hollywood Orchestra Opus Edition, then that’s a separate product from Forbidden Planet. They both run on our Opus Engine.
