The problem is Raxx so far you are the only one that puts out decent non 'look at my very end game build with 0 instructions on how to get there' videos so probably thats why a lot of people are asking for your guides. :)
bro english isnt my first lenguage and raxx is one of the few youtubers that i really watch and understand everything without boring, he put a lot of efford and his speak his clear iwht no unnecessary word, just straight to the point, very good communication skills
This is honestly the best format for POE 2 build content. Seriously give the player a leveling guide and an end game build in the same video is soooo clutch. I built the archer you had and made life great. Even after patch I’m still happy with it.
These guides are perfect, after the levelling guide, i was able to experiment and try and solve some of the issues myself, these guides provide checkpoints that i could take into account and watch my build grow over time. Instead of waiting a long time for the final version, which means you end up following 1-1 and not learn anything. Super appreciate your work on these dude!!
i love these step up videos. helps me understand how the game works more than "here is my ultra instinct t15 mapping build" with no explanation on how they got there. keep em coming
Godly. I really like these intermediate guides. Really helps give context to the progression of a character vs jumping straight from campaign guide to super late endgame.
To answer your question : Yes, those transitional guides are perfect! Especially for casual gamers like me.The game is fun, but with your help, it makes a perfect experience! So big thanks for that.
Tip for trading, when you put 200 dps and it shows 10000 results, that’s just the first 10000 it’s not necessarily the highest 10000. What you want to do is get the results below 10000, then you know when you sort you’re actually seeing the best items. You can literally get items with 2x the stats simply by knowing how to reduce the result set.
learned this yesterday when trade was showing my the cheapest price on a unique is a divine orb if i sorted by currency pricing but then if i set the trade value relative to exalted orbs SPECIFICALLY, the cheapest were like 20-25 exalteds. not sure why this works this way? is a divine orb cheaper to the system than it actually is? idk
@@KarmaKahnyou’re sorting those 10000 results only, there may be better items outside of those 10000 results, you need to filter the result set to below 10000, it’s well know dating back to POE1, I’m not making it up.
Raxx, I’ve been following your guides for Diablo 4 and now on POE 2, you are absolutely incredible with explaining everything. The game has soo much to it and you explain it with ease for dumb dumbs like me. Really appreciate the hard work and dedication to keep your followers entertained on your streams. Very happy with your guides. Thank you!
love the "transition" guide. There are plenty of T15 guides with really cool build that look awesome to try but there's nothing on how to get there. I think the type of guides you make here are perfect for semi-casual players like myself. I want to level up different characters, try the end game a bit, and maybe decide on one cool crazy build for T15 maping (saw a cool chronomancer guide, might try this on the medium term), but I'll probably end up with a few characters doing T8 maps, and maybe ill try to push one further
i am only in act 2 of my second playthrough , i see SOOOOO MANY endgame builds and barely any of them discuss levling . these have been awesome rax . Keep em up .
Another easy endgame defensive layer for us is Subterfuge Mask notable. Requires you going back down to your original path but only 3 points and adds a massive evasion bump just by getting a Energy Shield helm. Get a 400+ es helm and it gives 800 to evasion rating. Can get them pretty cheap too(1-5div) Start getting into 500+ for divs but can get a 300 for an exalt and thats still 600+ evasion rating.
So with the remaining 20pts that you have you could go northwest up towards the eastern part of the witch tree and theres a notable that makes it so enemys have no cold res when frozen and directly under it theres a notable that makes you do 50% extra damage when enemies are frozen. I think its an extra 7-8 passives but its a huge increase in damage since ice strike freezes a lot. Youre essentially doing true damage and an extra 50%. Highly recommend it. The nodes are called "Thin Ice" and "Heavy Frost"
Thank you for this guides. The lvling guide was a gamesaver for me. It feels soooooooo much better then Sorc, I was so unhappy, when I reached maps. Then I found your guide. Like many ppl said, the way you do them is very unique and veeery good.
I was walking away from PoE2 until I watched your leveling guide to ice monk. I went from getting smoked a dozen times by the bosses to completing the campaign, and now I’m starting endgame and excited to try this. Thanks Raxx!
These beginner guides that you are doing and now the intermediate ones are perfect! I am following the monk guide and I was almost reaching the point where the first one ends when this second one came out. Congratulations on the excellent work, I always follow the videos of the recorded lives and their content. Hugs from Brazil
Thankyou rax, always coming through with the no BS guides. I got my Deadeye to 79 so far using your base setup, and I managed to craft a few 1200+ evasion body pieces from early mapping this week I can plonk on my monk now. These guides have helped tremendously after having to pivot hard from my stormweaver (rip).
As always, Hoodie Man, great guide update! Been loving the Monk class much more than others currently. Merc is tied with Warrior for second, but Monk has great survivability.
This type of "transition" guide is perfect man. Super endgame isn't directly after the campaign so this is clutch. Appreciate the work it takes to make it this dead simple to understand
As a new player to PoE I find this „here is an idea to progress for you and also look at these usefull Knowledge btw“ very informative. Gives me just enough to get familiar to the game so that I can understand more complex guides in the future without me needing to research every second concept. Very much appreciated Rax
Guides are always helpful but they’re even better when you explain it out and don’t just say “put this here and that there” . So I appreciate the extra knowledge .
It's great to have the videos as steps to guide us. Especially when some of us do not have so much time to spend on finding out what is the best choice. Thank you for the guidance!
I just quickly tried out the ascendancy respec+ high evasion armor tip and I can already see this will help immensely, thank you! The one shot AoE that killed me before now took only about 40% life and i'm only at level 53 (cruel Act 1), which was much needed. Quality content as always!
I like this style of guide to get going quickly. I'm looking forward to the guides that walk you through everything once you've had more time and the game is more established.
Yes, i love these transition guides. It's a great guide. I really appreciate how you go in depth and explain why you chose that. Can't wait to get my monk to this level of dominance
thanks raxx, it was awesome to go through this game with you as guide. i cant wait for your crafting guide, because i don't really understand what im doing :P
I wasn't struggling on monk during the compaign though as I start mapping I faced with 1 shots pretty often. I changed my build, I broke it, I bought a lot of new items to kinda get things together and lost about 6k dps. But I keep trying, keep watching new guides and I like what you do. Thanks.
I’ve been following you since Diablo 3 and you are still my favorite ARPG guy. You have an amazingly steady way of teaching stuff that is so rare. Thanks for the awesome build. Only real fun I am having in Path of Exile 2 so far.
Raxx doing the lords work here. Too often you only see the end build on videos with no insight into why or how. The thing I love about Raxx is he not only shows you the build, but he actually walks you through it step by step. Its so much better because you are teaching people while showing them.
Rax, this video helped me more than any of your other videos combined lol. I was exactly where you said I was.. dying to everything and now my evasion is at 10k and clearing tier 5 maps no problem! Thanks for helping me get started with endgame!
I am currently playing your Leveling Build and it is blasting as you promised :) I am now in the middle of act 6 so it is time to start transition to your endgame build. Thanks a lot Raxx!! Love from germany ♥
I like the transitionary guides as it shows your own progress in understanding the game, which shows me what I should be thinking about and looking for, even though I might not take the same path to solve the specific problems myself
i kinda love those "middle" guides. cause when you try see some leveling guide its nice to get started in the right direction, specially with PoE1-2 , but when you then see a full endgame guide and its just max max max, you feel like you're never going to get there. So this middle ground on the way there, is a big help to get started on end game and then later on go for all the maxed out stuff :P
This is awesome. I am trying all of the classes and these leveling and early end game guides are super helpful to see progression from A to E to Z. Great stuff!
I started playing this game, cause my friends told me it's fun - They were wrong, it's great :D Found your guide on monk, now I'm in awe. There's so much to do! :D And thanks to you, I understand it better, thankfully you're here explaining to me all the different mechanics. I'm looking forward to next video!
I made my own build to level 70, and then I changed to yours. I increased my damage from 4500 to 15000! I was happy when I got 300 damage points before. Incredible! Thanks!
Raxx - Thank you for all you do. You have been my favorite gaming content provider since D3. And to answer your question, I like the intermediary guides to help transition from the leveling guide.
Nice guide Rax. About the same spot with my ice strike monk. Was using different build guide. But gonna make some changes to line it up with yours. The intermediate end game guides are nice, where I’m at now was following an endgame guide that is built around you having all 4 trials complete, so it leaves you in an odd spot where not quite there yet. This is very helpful.
Great content raxx, watched the whole thing. Great thing about POE2 is that it's very understandable from a more casual perspective from POE1 so this is the sort of guide that can be helpful as we are making our own choices, love to see it.
Definitely love the intermediary guides along the way - if nothing else it clues me in on which gems and passives to shoot for as I'm building since there's approximately one bajillion different permutations
Managed to get to end game without looking up a build guide, but as soon as i started maps my survivability dropped significantly, damage was good but just wasn't staying alive. Swapped to this build earlier today and oh my gosh what a difference it makes!!! Excellent build guide!!!
please keep these "transition" guides coming. these are nearly impossible to come by. it's either a guide for absolute beginners or for endgame fully finished builds. I really appreciate this stuff
the passive tree section solved my problem with feeling to squishy, i didnt understand that ascendency node till you explained it and that changed everything thanks a bunch
During this early phase of EA, I love these videos of the progression build guides to help out as we go. I’m flying blind on endgame and running out of maps so I’ll be respeccing right now! Thanks again for all the great content! Merry Hoodie Christmas! 🎅🏽
Can't wait for the ranger guide. I beat cruel using my own witch chaos build, but I wasn't happy with the damage so I rerolled into your ranger build. I've been really enjoying it so far!
No problem with this type of guide, it is perfect to know the basics of the build. Just update it on the website further. More different guides (especially about game in general) is way much better than deep dive into single build guide.

Raxx, first, your videos are amzing. Second, I'd like to suggest some videos I'd love to see and I'm sure are already in the works, but still, here it goes: 1. Crafting guide 2. Trading guide 3. Stash management / tabs upgrades guide 4. Permanent rewards guide (bosses who give res, spirit, points, etc. in both normal and cruel) 5. Best way to level up and gear alts (which gear to hoard) 6. Mapping guide 7. Trials guide Thank you for your work. Merry Christmas!
Thank you rax for explaining a lot of stuff for endgame monk! Just got there myself and I’m doing a slightly different build, but your tips are super helpful to figure out how things work and what to look for
These types of guides are so helpful I actually started expanding on your levelling monk build and I am happy to see that I went in a lot of similar directions But these are great check-in points As opposed to, here is the final late-end game build
Love the guide. An intermediary guide is better than a true end game guide (at the moment), as those typically have gear requirements to come online. Players need a middle step to get running maps. I don't think the average player is running T15+ maps right now.
Thanks for the update - regarding the Overabundance node on the Bell, I find it nice even in early mapping, because if you place your bell and delete something you don't have to wait for it to time out to just replace the next one (especially in altars or breaches I found that I liked having faster bells)
You should really only be using shattering palm if you can’t reliably freeze enemies in 1-2 hits. Raxx is freezing everything instantly so I’m not sure what benefit shattering palm would actually bring.
i can't thank you enough for this build it took a while to get going because i never found spirit gems till i got a lvl 11 one for combat fury but as soon as i got charged staff running this build became so fun
Cheers for putting up some more info on your take on monk. Used your starter guide, and tried different things, I ended up on a bit different path, without the ".. And protect me from harm" node, just got about 85% evasion, and 1100 ES, with ghost shrouds. I Have not died since I started mapping one time, at tier 10 maps at the moment. Also, I am doing power charge stacking and have added Falling Thunder, for full screen 1 button clear when I have too many power charges. Many good options for sure, and your initial guide was a great base to start for me.
How good would a staff be if it has low physical damage (51-100) but high elemental damage like fire damage (39-61) and lightning damage (1-130)? Swapping it for other staffs makes me lose a lot of dps
Thanks for the guide. Personally I like the intermediate guides. The end game guides are great but you need a way to get there. I've been fiddling with the skill gems and the passive tree a bunch and landed on about 80% of the same ones you did. The biggest difference is the bell. I went with it being bigger and more and stronger crits.
Great guide as always Rax, as far as uniques go, I dropped Polcirkeln and it's perfect for this buid. Just clears out trash screens in one or two hits :D

They do not want to say: I bought 200 divines for 500$ and this is how to get this items.. raxx is clear and transparent
Exactly. So many people just assume you have 1000 hours in PoE1, so they don't bother explaining anything.

I actually started expanding on your levelling monk build and I am happy to see that I went in a lot of similar directions
But these are great check-in points
As opposed to, here is the final late-end game build
These transition guides are very good, appreciate it
Love the guide. An intermediary guide is better than a true end game guide (at the moment), as those typically have gear requirements to come online. Players need a middle step to get running maps. I don't think the average player is running T15+ maps right now.
ure guide is insanely good, literally feel like darth maul, lore accurate darth maul.
Thanks!
Thanks for the update - regarding the Overabundance node on the Bell, I find it nice even in early mapping, because if you place your bell and delete something you don't have to wait for it to time out to just replace the next one (especially in altars or breaches I found that I liked having faster bells)
i cant imagine playing without shattering palm anymore. U should really try it. Clear Speed goes up 50%
You should really only be using shattering palm if you can’t reliably freeze enemies in 1-2 hits. Raxx is freezing everything instantly so I’m not sure what benefit shattering palm would actually bring.
@memebobs9011 try it and u will see. I also freeze everything with one hit
@@memebobs9011 palm + few hits clears the whole screen, and you can dash from pack to pack
@@bijnov84what support gems are you rocking in it?
@@nitrium6599 blind and maim
i can't thank you enough for this build it took a while to get going because i never found spirit gems till i got a lvl 11 one for combat fury but as soon as i got charged staff running this build became so fun
Thank you for putting this together, much appreciated your time to help us on being a strong noob.
Yes yes yes, more of these intermediate guides! Super helpful!
Thank you Raxx and yes I do appreciate the transition type of videos!
Raxx, you are lifesaver, also helping me to really understand build, not here for just c/p and tldr. Tnx
most people need these intermediary guides.
These guides that are transitioning are pretty sick
Raxx lowkey carrying the ARPG content space.
How good would a staff be if it has low physical damage (51-100) but high elemental damage like fire damage (39-61) and lightning damage (1-130)? Swapping it for other staffs makes me lose a lot of dps
Intermediary builds are perfect! Thank you Raxx!
Yeah bro - Love these incremental steps ! Keep em coming
Thanks for the guide. Personally I like the intermediate guides. The end game guides are great but you need a way to get there. I've been fiddling with the skill gems and the passive tree a bunch and landed on about 80% of the same ones you did. The biggest difference is the bell. I went with it being bigger and more and stronger crits.
really like these, can't wait for the witch endgame!
Can I just go for this build before I'm at endgame, or does the campaign require a more offensive build?
Great guide as always Rax, as far as uniques go, I dropped Polcirkeln and it's perfect for this buid. Just clears out trash screens in one or two hits :D
As a new comer to Poe2 your videos are so damn helpful. Thanks my man
