Still 💔 Yeah, John Prine was great but him passing is just sad; he'd had a couple of battles with cancer already and a long, unforgettable career. I guess I was prepared. Loss of Adam is tragic. 😥
Should have gone to this show. Kicking myself now. FoW was an underrated treasure and Adam, a hilarious, musical, and lyrical genius. Xoxoxo RIP Adam ❤️
RIP Adam...1 year today. You were a sweetheart, and sadly missed. Thanks for never letting me hide behind the amps even though my bass playing wasn't even in the same stratoshpere as yours!! x.
it throws me off when Adam & Jody switch sides but I enjoy hearing them take turns at the mic. Love the dirty look Adam gives Brian towards the end when he speeds up the tempo!
so glad i got to see FOW once, and it was at this gig. wasn't the best gig I've ever been to, but even then... if it's fountains of wayne, playing great fountains of wayne songs then its already head and shoulders above most other bands out there.
the steve miller song got some crap for being derivative of Crossroads..... and sure the riff is pretty darn close if not indistinguishable but he took it in more poppy and less bluesy directions. Love it! and Great medley idea and execution by FOW!
They were winging it. Radiation was tight and then Jody called the jam and off they went. Having fun getting loose and playing old tunes they probably used to do when they started
I'm an old man (out of college in 1973). Didn't think there was any good music after 1999. Then discovered FOW. One of the best bands of my lifetime.
Shine on Adam
You crazy diamond.
Still 💔

RIP Adam
I saw them in 1998. There were 13 people at the show. Their set was amazing.what a medley!
Their debut CD actually came out in 1996.

Wow, wish I could have been at that show. Was sold out by the time I learned of it. Great clip. What a way to remember Adam.

wow... 4 musicians at the top of their game...brilliant

They did this in Philly, we were out of our minds.
And we had to pull Jody's ass out of the street before he got hit by a car or bus.
So mad at myself for not going to this show. I live in Philly, was gonna go.
I wish you were still hear Adam
Unreal energy in there
Great band. Great songs. Rip Adam
Adam - I miss you.
Lucky you guys that had the opportunity to watch them live... I am from brazil and hope to someday listen to fow in us!!! 💪💪💪
It's raw rock and roll. Gotta love it.
I was there!
I'm pretty sure I was too!
Amazing😳❤️
THIS IS SO GOOD!
Chris sounded great here
That intro to Jet Airliner sounded more like Crossroads than the Miller Band hit!

I was always thrown off-kilter when Adam & Jody switched sides.
Description Edit - Eponymous Debut is 1996
Chuck, would you happen to have a setlist for Fountains of Wayne set on 10/12/2012? Thanks!
I do not, Paul. I'd have to go back to my old raw files if I can find them.
I love Fountains, but this is sloppy as hell. :(

That was part of their charm. 😉
