If you look my "Which one is better 1/48 Starfighter Kinetic or Hasegawa..." you can see that I liked the Hasegawa build more than much newer Kinetic..
I don't think this is a fair comparison, the reason is the Hasegawa kit is over 28 years old! If this is to be a fair comparison, compare the Meng F-4 to a Tamiya or Zoukei Mura offering. Hasegawa was the best in its day and still is competitive.
I'm thinking of making Academy vs. Meng comparison, although they have 10 years age difference too.. And I'm waiting for Hasegawa build experience.. Lets see what will happen

Details vice Meng is definitely better, but Hasegawa seems to be quite easy build

The Hasegawa kit was excellent for.....1985, and can be built quickly into a good model.
The Meng is a modern, up to date mold and it shows it.

The day vs the night... For Hasegawa, the only pro yet is you can find it under 30 bucks.
I think these are for different audiences. I'll make a followup video to this when I have built both of them..
@@TV-ez4md The EJ from Hasegawa has a beautiful boxart and the scheme is topnotch also. For the price, it's a nice kit to make a beautiful Phantom.

True, no comments which looks better, you can compare from pictures and texts which you like more. Conclusions comes after I have build both 🙂
