Author's comments: *1 - All day on the phones - in plural, a weird way of saying it in Hebrew too, sound like a mockery. *2 - He stresses the "מו" and "דו" in "מועדונים" ("mo" and "do" in "mo'adonim") which sounds funny - I assume it too is kind of a mockery at the way this allegedly snub girl probably talks. *3 - "סבון" ("Sabon") literally means "soap", and is and old fashion slang for a geek or something like that. *4 - "דאווין" ("dawin") - This word repeats itself in the song about once or twice, I guess I better explain what it means. Well, it means a show-off . Or something. Hard to explain but the song pretty much delivers the idea. It should be stated that its use in contemporary Israeli slang is in somewhat of a decline. *5 - Do I need to explain what's a Falafel? Google it... *6 - לעשות רוח - literally "make wind", means to show off. *7 - "מז'נון" ("Majhnun", مجنون) - this slang is directly borrowed from Arabic , where it means "crazy". It too is not used as much as it used to be used. *8 - "באצבע לא עשוני"/"לא עשו אותי באצבע" "I was not made by finger!" - It's pretty clear what that means... I was not born yesterday, you can't pull that trick on me, etc. *9 - "אני קולט אותך" ("Ani kolet otakh"). literally "I'm receiving you". In this context it means "I see through you", "I've got you figured out", etc. There are also positive contexts such as "I see what you mean" or something. *10 - "עיוני" ("Ayuni", عيوني) - Literally, in Arabic, "My eyes". This Hebrew slang word means, like in Arabic - "precious", "dear", etc. just like the eyes in the biblical Hebrew expression "בבת עיני" ("Bavat Eini") which is in a very high register of language (See Zohar Argov's song "Ha-Perach Be-Gani"). In this case it seems like he is using "עיוני" sarcastically and it reminds me of the way DCI Hunt in "Life on Mars" disrespectfully calls all the birds "love". My friend here LW, on the other hand, claims the singer is secretly (or openly) in love with this girl, and means "עיוני" whole-heartedly

העיבוד המוסיקלי העשיר מוסיף..לעומת זאת השירה של שאנן לא מוסיפה מאום ואף גורעת.
כל כך מסכים. שיהיה בריא שאנן. לא כל מי שעושה היפ הופ יכול בהכרח גם לשיר יפה.
