    Excellent introductory video on the topic. As an educator, always searching for introductory videos such as this one. Thanks. Do more please. Student comments/questions: why do some kids produce histamine more than others (peanut allergy example in video)? The complexity of the immune response is perhaps the most difficult aspect to try and explain to students...as if we know ourselves. I think some who have allergies issues may think of themselves are "defective" in some way ... something we must try hard not to fester or spread. But this video sure got a lot of attention and sparked a lot of interest.

    • @johanna8206
      @johanna8206 4 роки тому +3

      Things that I have personally found to help include avoiding the allergen temporarily if you can while working on cleaning up the diet (fresh, whole-foods plant-based diet, as organic as possible) and detoxing and supporting the liver which produces histamine (especially when it is overwhelmed with toxins) through herbs like milk thistle, burdock and dandelion. Quercetin and bromelain are natural antihistamines, and taking them in combination with other anti-inflammatory supplements like fish oil, curcumin, Boswellia, and fermented foods or probiotics can really work wonders!
      For short-term use, like during the worst parts of allergy season, a great option is licorice extract, which works very similarly to steroids without many of the harmful side-effects (like immune suppression). Be aware it can raise blood pressure, however, and shouldn't be taken longer than two weeks at a time.
      If you can, I highly recommend checking out Dr Eric Berg and Dr John Bergman here on YT, they have a wealth of great information on how the body works, and ways to heal it naturally. ☺

    I think many times what we call an allergie is actually a buildup of things that on a micro scale is needed or at least tolerated in the body but in larger amounts are toxic or deadly . I started having a reaction to eggs and onions after eating egg sandwiches every single day for years , and I became so sensitive that I almost died from not being able to breathe from a very small amount . But I did an elimination diet to figure it out and by not eating that for several years have become much less sensitive ! I think the culprit was a buildup of sulfur . I just wanted to let people know that there sensitivity , maybe reversable , by eliminating the rite foods !

      A leaky gut combined with weak stomach acid is the most likely starting point. When proteins are not completely digested into amino acids, they are supposed to be shuttled out of the body. If, however, your gut (i.e. small intestine) is unnaturally porous from continual exposure to man-made residues and additives like glyphosate or other contaminants that undo tight junctions, then that undigested protein slips through the gut into the blood where the immune system takes first notice and develops antibodies for foods and other substances that would normally not be a problem.

      Second method, introduction of the (future) allergen protein into the body via injection along with an adjuvant which stimulates an immune response (IgE, allergy)- those proteins often being egg, dairy (casein), gluten, peanut, yeast, or human tissue (which would create allergy to human tissue aka autoimmune disease). 💉

If I take antihistamines and they prevent those symptoms then and I am exposing myself to some thing that may be harmful to me?

    • @SW-ni9uq
      @SW-ni9uq 3 роки тому

      Dust isn't inherently bad.
      Some molds can be though.
      Peanuts aren't inherently bad, but some people will die from them because their immune system over-reacts to them.
      My immune system over-reacts to pollen.
      It's not usually the item that is bad, but the individual's immune system's over-reaction to something that should normally be harmless that is bad.
      If an antihistamine prevents the over-reaction, then all is well.

      Yes, you can reduce it naturally. First your allergy occurs in your brain then in your body. Any conversation about you feeling irritated, itchy, nauseated, suffocated will soon became so. The source , culprit is a symbolic representation of the person that you are allowing to produce those emotions. I do know better and I did it to myself 2 years ago. I used to suffer from allergies when I was little but I stopped for about 20 years. When I was around my sixtieth birthday I wanted a party with my family, that's when my children stopped talking with each other. Even I understood them , I was irritated. I developed a terrible rash in my face , my eyes, my nose , cheeks and my thighs after eating chicken liver( my favorite food).So this is what I did:1 I stopped eating chicken liver
      2 I recognize my feelings and I also recognized I was being a diva.
      3 I took a kidney extract from Australia that I bought from Amazon for about $60.00
      4 I enjoyed more than one birthday celebration with my kids separatedly and give them time and space to heal their. relationship.
      5 I read Louise Hay book ''You can heal your life''
      6 after 2 weeks I was ok, I no longer take the kidney extract and I can eat chicke
      n liver as much as I want
      7 I stopped being a Diva.
      Did you noticed how many people in this chat got ''IRRITATED" by the music!!!! That is not an accident! Everything is created twice, first is a thought, then a thing.
      I hope this helps somebody.

My body with every god-damned reaction and mood particularly intense can trigger and make my skin itchy- it's chronic itchiness that I can't seem to identify any external stimuli to trigger it. I can't stop picking my nose that it's became a bad habit i.e. affecting me psychologically and physically since when I sneeze my mucous got a bit of blood from it. I sweat a lot and my skin is getting drier and drier; same to my scalp. I'm very susceptible to any bacterial growth and fungal infection. I can't and I always repress emotions so I don't get much even worse. Insomniac, severely anxious and miserable. This been happening a half and a year. Doctors think it is just depression. I'm actually baffled and lost now.
