The dates of her birth and death are not conclusively clear from any of the aforementioned historical works; however what can be fairly decisively assumed from them is that she - in most probability - died around the year 1868 or 1869 at around the age of 41 or 42. It is also said that she married Baha‟u‟llah‟s brother Mirza Rida-Quli a couple of years before the Declaration of the Blessed Bab at around the age of 15; which makes her about 10 years younger than Baha‟u‟llah

.... Yea, the gleaming hearts of the friends are alone befitting of the darts of His decree, and the throats of those that love Him are alone yearning for the mesh of limitless anguish. Wherever a spear flies, it strikes the breasts of the friends; and wherever sorrow is dispelled, it descends on the hearts of the companions. Wells of tears are the eyes of the lovers, whilst charming indifference is the response of the objects of their desires.

مریما، عیسی جان بلا مکان عُروج نمود قفس وجود از طیرِ محمود خالی ماند و بلبلِ قِدَم بهصحرای عَدم رو نمود و عَندَلیبِ اِلهی بَر سِدرۀ رَبانی بهخُروش آمد، سُرادقِ عِزت بَر دَرید و هُمای رَفعَت از شاخسارِ بِهجت بَر پَرید، افلاکهای بلند بر خاکِ تیره بنشست و نَعرهها از دلِ پُر درد بَرخاست، آبِ گُوارا بهخون تبدیل شد و صَحنِ فِردوسِ بَرین بهخون آمیخته، بلی تیرِ قَضای اِلهی را سینۀ مُنیر دوستان لایق و کَمَندِ بلای نا متناهی را گَرَدنِ عاشقان شائق، هرکجا خَدنگی است بَر صَدرِ احباب وارد آید و هر جا غمی است بَر دلِ اَصحاب نازل گردد، عاشِقان را چَشم تَر باید و معشوقان را ناز وکِرِشمه شاید، حَبیب اگر صد ناله سراید محبوب بر جفا بیافزاید. اگر شربتِ وصال خواهی تَن بهزوال دَر دِه و اگر خَمرِ جمال طلبی در وادی حِرمان پا نه. مَریما، حُزن را به سُرور بچش و غم را از جامِ فَرَح دَر کش، اگر خواهی قَدَم درکویِ طَلب گُذاری صابر باش و رُخ را مَخَراش و آب از دیده مَپاش و از بیصبران مَباش، پیراهنِ تسلیم پوش و از بادۀ رضا بنوش و عالَمی را به دِرهَمی بِفروش، دل به قَضا دربند و به حُکمِ قَدَر پیوند، چشمِ عِبرت برگُشا و از غیر دوست دَرپوش که عَنقَریب در مَحضرِ قُدس حلقه زنیم و به حضرتِ اُنس رو آریم و از بَربَطَ عَراق نغمه حِجازی بشنویم و با دوست مُلحَق شویم، ناگفتنی بگوئیم و نادیدنی ببینیم و ناشنیدنی بشنویم و به آهنگِ نـور هیکلِ روح را به رقص آوریم و در حَریمِ جان بـزمِ خوشی بیارائیم و از ساقیِ جلال ساغَرِ جَمال برگیریم و بهیـادِ رُخِ ذوالجلال خَمرِ بیمثال درنـوشیم، چشم را ازآب پـاک کن و دل را از حُزن بِـروب و قلب را از غم فـارغ نما و به آهنگ ملیح بـرخوان:
گر تیغ بارد در کوی آن ماه
گردن نهادیم الحُکمُ للّه
واین خود یک آموزش است چه بهتر از این
2-همای رفعت از شاخسار بهجت برپرید افلاکهای بلند بر خاک تیره بنشست و نعرها از دل پر درد برخاست آب گوارا بخون تبدیل شد و صحن فردوس برین بخون آمیخته * بلی تیر قضای الهی را سینۀ منیر دوستان لایق و کمند بلای نامتناهی را گردن عاشقان شائق هر کجا خدنکی است بر صدراحباب وارد آید و هر کجا غمی است بر دل اصحاب نارل گردد عاشقان را چشم تر باید و معشوقان را ناز و کرشمه شاید حبیب اگر صد ناله سراید
