💎 [BTS Cubic Painting] Starting my first diamond painting

In this video, I’ll be #unboxing the #BTS Cubic Painting (SUGA ver) and I’ll be starting my very first #Diamond #Painting. Since it’s my first time, and this painting is freaking HUGE, I’ll be taking my time to complete it (and I honestly think you should too XD unless you wanna slave over it for more than 48 hours :p). Here are a few things I picked up on my first try:
Prep makes a lot of difference!
1) Get more trays (the set only gives you two, getting two more could help)a - this is because switching between colours takes up a lot of time. It’s nice to have four out at a time.
2) Take your time (its super hard on the eyes!!)
3) Split the portrait into sections - in the video you will see I use washi tape to split it into 9 sections. You can cut it up so you can keep untouched areas perfectly secured. Also you can go back and forth from one area to another if you feel like it.
4) Cover large sections first - smaller sections require maaannnnyyyyy switching between drills which takes up ALOT of time. Cover big areas first and smaller ones later.
5) Washi tape the EDGE of the portrait - the edges are super sticky! Once you are done with a section, use the washi tape to tape up the edge since it’ll still be a bit sticky. This will prevent lint and random dusts sticking onto it before you fully cover the portrait.
6) HAVE FUN! Don’t stress to finish it asap. Take your time and have fun!
