I tottaly agree about this. Geoff have made a Classic out of a Classic, just by sheer quality in his approach to the original... Thanks for reacting to this 🙂🤘
His range is crazy insane indeed! Not just a great voice... Geoff does great arrangements as well. He did one for an a capella group called Home Free where they did a collaboration on a song called _Elvira_ with The Oak Ridge Boys. . Home Free is another rabbit hole with many great songs/ videos. Checked out some of your music and liked it. Reminds me of The Stone Roses quite a bit - Not a bad thing at all IMO.
Cool. Yeah I heard 2 tracks by Home Free and liked them both. O brother and Ring Of Fire. And, thanks, glad you liked our stuff. Yes the latest album from 2020 is a love letter to the whole 90's UK indie scene where the Roses were on top so I aimed for that sound in the production and song writing. Our earlier music has been calles dream pop.
He also does a nice cover of High and Dry. Voice play also does cover of the oogie boogie song from the movie nightmare before Christmas. He also has narrated some Edgar Allen Poe stories on UA-cam and patreon
@@dannytheswedishmusixian1513 No the video game Halo in which Geoff hits 2 B0s. They have done at least 2 video game songs, Halo and The Dragonborn Comes Skyrim (a dragon infested medieval scenario - just came out in Feb. sung in English and the game language). Halo is a tribute since the original guys started 4:25 in middle school before morphing it into VoicePlay. Their beatboxer, Scott Porter left to try acting (Friday Night Lights, Lucifer, and more). Layne was the baritone and he took over beatboxing, Earl was one of the high tenors and left recently for medical issues. Tony has been a singer (Phantom of the Opera with Rachel Potter is great) but right now is partnered with Layne in Pattycake Studios that VP uses for staging. When going on the road they took Halo with them and played it in the hotel room. The last part of the Halo presentation is a history with photos of them.
Aha, thanks! Yeah I've seen they did those but I'm not really a fan of the fantasy/video game music so I've skipped them. Also not really into the more theatrical stuff. I like the serious Geoff the most :-)
For basses, Avi Kaplan (formerly of PTX), Tim Foust (Home Free) and Geoff Castelluci (Voiceplay) can't be beat. Their video lists will turn into rabbit holes for you. ;o)

You think that’s amazing check out ringmaster Foust!!!!! He is the master of bass. Check out home free live version of your man or ring of fire. Sea shanty he also is amazing on
Thank you❣
Thanks! 👍🏻
Geoff is type of singer that when bass or baritone singers practise for years and years , when they hear Geoff they be like ''Fck it , I am nothing''

Thanks!
Wonderful reaction! Geoff is an amazing singer and arranger. I love his work.
Thanks!
Yeah, that's an E1 at the end. Same note he hits at the end of Oogie Boogie with Voiceplay.
Ah thanks.
Please do Hoist the colors by Voice Play.
Thanks
Always love your reactions.
Thank you, glad to hear it 😊👍🏻
Check out Voice Play’s cover of Bridge over troubled waters 💜💙❤️ and true colors

Good, Thanks!
Tim Storms?
This is one biiig black birdie... (phoenix Maleficent?)
Showing off his vocal range, well most of it anyways.
Have you done Avi Kaplan? (He's coming to Copenhagen in Mars 2022)
Do more of Home Free also.
I have not done Avi.
@@dannytheswedishmusixian1513 My favourite is "I'll get by" and "It knows me"
Tim Foust from Home Free taught Avi how to sing even lower.
Cool. Do you have a link for his best song?
