Railfanning West Sacramento, CA Featuring Amtrak Siemens Charger Test Train 2/2/20

From January 28 - February 4 2020, Amtrak leased two IDTX SC-44 locomotives for testing on the Empire Builder, Coast Starlight and California Zephyr routes. Amtrak will soon replace the P42’s and P40’s from the long-distance trains with new AMTK SC-44 locomotives from Siemens. I caught the test train 934 returning to Chicago, IL at West Sacramento, CA. I also filmed Amtrak 737 and the MRVOA meeting the test train. Enjoy:)
