Родные провожают мужчин на войну и просят их вернутся живыми, пусть ранеными и покалеченными, но живыми, обещают их дождаться не смотря ни на что. Песня написана Владимиром Высоцким в 1972-ом году в память о Великой Отечественной Войне 1941-1945 .

The lyrics of the song "So it happened ― the men left ..." conveys all the female longing for husbands, sons and fathers who went to war. A timeless work, not tied to an epoch or a historical event, carries the response of the distant Great Patriotic War (1941-1945). The song was written in 1972. Vladimir Vysotsky is a legendary personality, a man of an epoch, he has not been with us for 42 years, but his songs are sung and will be sung, and they are always relevant. This is not the first Vysotsky song that Diana sings and, as always, she performed it perfectly, and heartfelt to tears. I am grateful to her for that.

This video has painted a picture to me of loved ones going away to war and the pain of the loved ones leaving and some not returning : ( The loved ones will never ever be forgotten ❤️. Diana sings emotionally about the longing of the mothers, wives and children whose sons, husbands and fathers had to go to war. It penetrates me and my eyes fill with tears. This song is timeless and another song by the great Russian songwriter Vysotsky. The melody is great, so beautiful and as always, Diana touches people's souls with her velvety voice. The song was new arranged for Diana by Brandon Stone.
* Who was the songwriter?
Vladimir Vysotsky (1938-1980) was a Russian poet, actor and singer, inconvenient for the state but the people loved him. In his songs he sang about topics that officially did not exist in the Soviet Union: prostitution, crime, anti-Semitism. He is still known and popular today in Russia, where he is considered the greatest songwriter of the 20th century. He always played his songs on a 7-string guitar.
Vysotsky died in 1980. His funeral took place during the Moscow Olympics. The Soviet media did not mention his death. But the news spread like wildfire, and the funeral turned into the largest non-state demonstration Moscow had ever seen.
In a 2018 survey of the most important personalities in Russia of the 20th century, Vysotsky came in second behind Yuri Gagarin. The asteroid of the outer main belt (2374, Vladvysotskij) was named after him. (google helped)

Hi,
The song is about the people waiting and hoping for their men to return home from war.
This is an ode to those who left for war during the second world war and those who were left behind to wait for them.
It was written for the second world war but it is a timeless message for everyone who has to stay back and wait with fear and hope in their hearts for their loved ones until they return to them.
"..coming with song..." means ...come back with Victory..eq.Song, happy and...Whole....or not. But if even If, You will be accepted the same ...no doubt ..
