Well. A quiet and very nice little story :)
“Nice”? What a shallow assessment of the death of a marriage, the death of love.
The world is elegiac”, not “elegaic”, and it has a long “i” sound in the penultimate syllable, a long “a” sound.
Hello? No voice Director, and it’s obvious. The artist de Chirico has a hard “k” sound at the beginning, not “ch” as in chick.
