I mean we've been complaining about the lack of goals even when being in the lead for supporter's shield (giving miami an extra game early is a cheap trick) so I'm happy we got four goals tonight.

@@munchinator4000 considering the voting comes from players, clubs, and media you would hope that some of them would vote honestly. But who knows. If I were in charge I wouldn’t want a skewed MVP vote, it would disenfranchise a lot of fans.

Celio was fouled twice against Chicago (soft fouls, but worse than Acosta's), and they didn't award him the penalties because he didn't go down. Referees need to be consistent and call those soft fouls every time, even if a player doesn't go down; otherwise, they are encouraging diving in the penalty area.
Matt Miazga has to go. FCC can't effort to have a defender like him. 2024 is THE YEAR for FCC to have a TROPHY.

Yeah I can’t think of a team that would want the REIGNING DEFENDER OF THE YEAR on their team. He definitely needs to go. I hate good defenders honestly 😅
He has occasional lapses - but he is also a fantastic defender. At least he seems to be keeping his temper under better control. So, I would say there is definite progress.

There's no flopping. Defenders have to be careful in the box. FCC gave them a goal and they still couldn't win.
@@cm4660 every time Pompeu had the ball his defender acted like he got shot. Meanwhile Jackson was getting body slammed on a break with no call. The ref wouldn’t let STL even play.
