- Recorded on October 2, 2021 at approximately 5:27-5:30 A.M. Mountain Time after Mister Rogers' Neighborhood and before The Berenstain Bears.
This was one of the last days for Mister Rogers to air with its original funding and 1999-2000 PBS Kids system cues. After this week, the show would receive a rebrand with new funding and the 2013 system cues replacing the old ones. Honestly, it's kind of sad to see PBS do this as I loved being able to see the classic PBS Kids with Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.
The Mister Rogers' Neighborhood episode was "Making Mistakes" #1577.

I can’t believe they still use the old dash logo from 1999.
I didn’t even know some PBS channels still aired Berenstain Bears. It’s pretty cool really.
Well I'm very glad you were able to get one last recording of the old Mister Rogers before the repackaging.
This wasn't even intentional, the only reason I captured it was because I was trying to capture the Berenstain Bears, but I'm glad I managed to preserve it!

Well, I'm gonna miss the Old Fundings and the Old PBS Kids Logo cause of the New Fundings and Rebranding the PBS Kids but we have Fun.

We will never see the old logos and funding again.
They might still be on the episodes of Mister Rogers that aren't being used in rotation right now. PBS has been cycling through the same episodes of the show for years, so the ones they aren't using might still not be repackaged.
The only station that does air the episodes that aren't in rotation is GPB every weekday.

I never seen any PBS Kids channels that still air the Avenger CEC sponsors.
I wonder what the Berenstein Bears uses between two segments in PBS version.

What was even the point of replacing the old cues in Mister Rogers' Neighborhood? Literally nobody minded.
You can never tell with PBS. The funny thing though is that back in 2018 they put the 2016 e/i bug on all of the old prints of the show but they left the old cues intact, so it kind of shocked me that they actually removed the old cues now. I thought they were going to keep them on there until PBS stopped airing the show.
@@rtxwheelss I kinda thought that they left the cues in on purpose because they thought it fit well with the show to keep them in, but I guess that wasn't the case, or at least not anymore.
@@joycojlm I know, I meant to put "thought" in my comment, but I somehow deleted the word. It still seems pretty odd for them to repackage it now when we're so close to another rebrand and they could just wait to use new 2022 system cues and not have to repackage it again for another 5-9 years

If PBS Kids let Mister Roger’s Neighborhood and Berenstain Bears air again, they should let Zoboomafoo air again too
PBS decided to start airing Mister Rogers again because of viewer demand and the legacy he left behind.
PBS Kids is actually not airing the Berenstain Bears, it is just SDPB, KLCS, and KVCR that are still airing it because it was their decision to keep it on since PBS never lost the rights to it.
The reason PBS isn't airing Zoboomafoo is because the demand isn't there for it to be re-aired. They do still have the rights to air it though should they decide to. So unless the demand comes for it to be re-aired, I doubt we will ever get to see it again. The only way would be for a station to make an independent decision to air it.

You also can try to contact your local PBS station as well or any other PBS station and ask them if they can re-air it too.
Do they still have Berenstain Bears? I've really wanted to see the Chuck E. Cheese's hand in hand bumper (with the blue background) in as great of quality as this. It would be great if you could capture that.
Yes the Berenstain Bears still airs to this day on SDPB. I've been recording a ton of it but I haven't seen the Hand in Hand funding yet. I'll let you know if I do capture it.

@@AlexPerrine They definitely could if they wanted to because PBS has the rights to tge show but I'm sure it's because Twin Cities has made to choice not to broadcast it.

@@osagiee.guobadia-secondytc4624 Actually it was sometime in 2004 I think that The Berenstain Bears aired as its own series (which is what these broadcasts are from). When the show first premiered in 2003 it aired alongside Seven Little Monsters in a series called "The Berenstain Bears with Seven Little Monsters" the episodes were the same but some segments and things were different from the series that airs now.
