- This guitar is only $259 as of late November 2022. It is just amazing for that price. You get stainless steel frets, a roller bridge, nice sealed tuners, a fantastic neck and light-weight mahogany body. The hum bucker pickups are responsive, and they are set up for push-pull coil splitting. Mine plays fantastically and came really well set up. There's also an included gig bag. Well I pulled out my Grote 335 today. Been sitting in my guitar collection for about 4-5 years. This guitar was a gift. Darn it! Plays better than my Epiphone Casino! No lie! I should have used this guitar sooner. Awesome tiger maple too!

Man I am just blown away at how far budget guitars are coming now. These features in this one and the others you have reviewed would be considered midtier guitars and some of the parts on them high end and rare. It is exciting to see how far along all this is coming from these manufacturers. The big guys (ie: Fender and Gibson) could definitely learn something.
I'm impressed with Grote. I have the GRWB-ZTVS (ES-125T clone). I bought it used locally for $160. Once I set it up with a set of flat wound 12-52s it played beautifully,
