I just ordered Santal 33(?) It was a blind buy, so I'm hoping I will like it. Im a fan of woodsy, patchoulli type smells. Any recommendations for other Le Labor scents?
Santal 33 is in my top 5. It’s a weird scent in the best way. I always wear it when I need a boost of confidence

Girl the deals for fragrances are amazing. I live in Germany and just bought Tom Ford Velvet Orchid 50ml for $60 (I think at my local macys in Florida it cost $150 with tax)

So excited when I saw this video. This is one of my all time favs. I agree this is a unique scent either you love it or you dont! The longevity is phenomenal, it will stay in your clothes for months, its unisex and a bit animalistic!
@MyCrownstar you are not lying! I had worn this scent on my fall jacket. Can you believe the next fall when I wore the jacket the scent was still there?! Annnnd I only sprayed it just for a one time wear.

This is the BEST review of Santal 33. I’ve been wearing it for almost 5 years and this was my experience. I personally go to Nordstrom Americana because my best friend Elisa works there and she’s the most knowledgeable team member Le Labo has. (The other sent is Thé Noir like TAY not the. But you’re on the mark) I recommend trying Another 13 and the City exclusive Gaiac 10 AS WELL AS the new one Matcha! Now matcha is made by God - that one is next level! Also try Rose 31 and Baie 19. I own all of those and people stop me daily like SIR, what are you wearing. I mainly wear Santal 33 and Thé Noir but when I’m feeling nasty (Janet Jackson Ref) I do the others ESPECIALLY Gaiac 10. Prior to COVID, I went in to my local Le Labo to buy Santal 33 but it was September and they had their city collections line available for purchase (ordinarily they can only be purchased from the Le Labo store in that country.) After sampling the city lines, I didn't end up purchasing Santal 33 but instead I purchased the Tokyo scent - Gaiac 10. It is also a woody fragrance but it is totally different from Santal but still intoxicating in the way Santal is. It is musky but not heavy and very clean and I get compliments every time I wear it. Needless to say I am happy with my purchase and If you like Le Labo I would recommend visiting in September so that you can sample all the city scents as well as their flagship collection. I plan to purchase Santal 33 as well in the future but my local store is currently closed due to COVID. Also I love that they make it fresh in front of you and when you run out just bring the bottle back and they will refill it with a fresh batch at a discount.

YES!! At the end of November, I said that I wouldn't buy another fragrance in 2020. I've bought 10 since that blatant lie lol. Fyi, 3 of those 10 are coming today and tomorrow. SMH

Santal 33 sparked my fragrance journey two years ago. I stumbled upon at a Nordstrom’s counter in 2018. It was different from what I was used to, intriguing and beautiful. I obsessed about this fragrance for so long and finally pulled the trigger earlier this year ♥️.
I felt the same way when I stumbled upon it at Nordstrom's, once I got a Whiff knew I had to add it to my collection. It's so good 👍🏽
It must be a LeLabo kind of Christmas! I just picked up Another 13. 😁 I’ve had Santal for years and love it. Hope you enjoy!

Imo santal 33 is definitely an amazing fragrance and worth the price. I get compliments when i wear it and i smell expensive 😂

Glad you did this video. This year my love for perfume started strong and one of the first ones I heard about so much was Santal 33. Since it was beginning of the pandemic, I couldnt go out and get it so I blind bought it (april or so), till today ( december 30) I cant get to love it. In fact, I think I hate it. Lol. Tried to give it new opportunities, but I have it a bit more every time. It is just somehow too green and tree-ish! Didnt really last on me. Am surprised you liked it so much!

With Santal 33, it’s soft but it lingers. Such a pretty scent. I just received my second bottle today

Santal 33 is too masculine on my skin. Bergamotte 22 is a lovely citrus, however the longevity is terrible. Another 13 is my favorite Le Labo scent. When you mentioned Century City it made me miss living in LA. Happy New Year! 🎊

Girl, I did not like Le Labo Santal 33. I think my next purchase is Oud Bouquet. Have definitely tightened the purse strings regarding fragrances. My last purchase was Burberry Her in June when my Nordstrom reopened after lockdown.

can you smell another 13 on you? bacause i returned it since i couldnt smell it at all all i smelled was alcohol 😔 so i exchanged it for santal 33 that i can smell and it aint covid 😫😩
@@lc99977 I only have the tester. I do smell it but not sure with the longevity. I have the Oil perfumery of Santal 33 and that one is a beast. I paid $20 bucks and it scratches the itch for me

I stopped in the store in NYC today and grabbed a bottle after doing some “smelling”. I got a kick out of watching my bottle mixed and poured! It was an enjoyable experience….

I had the same experience at the one hotel in Miami. I was like this smells like Santel 33.

Santal 33 is most iconic perfume of Le Labo.
I try all le Labo perfumes until reached Santal 33 matching with my taste.
It’s my favorite I love this brand
I do want to add one of the City Exclusive to my collection and of course I want Paris’s Vanille 44. I have to wait until September because that’s when they give all City Exclusives a passport to travel the world to be sold in your local LeLabo boutiques.

I bought santal 33 a couple of years ago (blind buy) it is NOT a safe blind but IMO. Either you love it or hate it. It wears THE BEST during hot summer months. Something about it swelters on you in the best way and makes it to intoxicating.

I agree. I know I have been 1 of the ladies that suggested this scent to Cheraye. I had to take a break from it and try something new but always venture back to it.
For Christmas I got the body oil, my entire house smells like this when I get ready. I’m getting the candle next, lol. Nordstrom has a nice assortment of items on their website and will even have a sale now and then, but not often!.
I’ve now ventured into Channel Allure and adore this scent. So bummed they only make the lotion for this scent, not even a travel size to carry with you. I need to figure out how to decant into a travel size. I guess I got time considering I’m not going anywhere soon lol!

Hey I’m catching up. I also splurged so much on perfume this year. Most crazy purchases is I brought Chanel No 5 on 6 December 2020 then went back to the counter the next day on 7 December 2020 to buy myself a Coco Noir as a Christmas Gift. All is i wake up in the morning, get breakfast and getting ready to buy myself a Coco Noir. Like my mind was made up while i was sleeping. My goals of collecting 3 Chanel fragrances before the end of 2020 is archives!

hello, do you smell it when applying it? because i got it as a gift and all i can smell is alcohol and maybe a little kinda coconut scent 😫 i really wanted to love it but i just couldn’t smell it.. or is it ment for the person wearing it not to smell it at all?

I have a genuine concern here. What If the sales person makes a mistake while making the perfume. Mistakes happen all the time everywhere, and this process of compounding is definitely is not mistake proof. Plus minor inaccuracies.... does it mean all bottles are and smell different? And some are just incorrect?

I honestly believe it is hype. I just received my bottle and I am so disappointed. I had high hopes that since it was made to order, it was going to be a dream come true for my favorite note in perfumery (sandalwood) and I was expecting this sandalwood bomb and all I get is oud and leather with a slight peppery note. Plus, it only lasts three hours on me.
Didn't work for me. Gave it a chance for a week wearing it,looking for something to like, emptied my head from everything good and bad I heard but no.
In my subjectiveness all I smelled is fragrance $50 worth.

Bought it online before xmas it say on the bottle- compounded : in our lab- fresh 12 months after 1st spray.. hmmm? I spray in my skin but it never last longer

This is the fragrance that people will follow you for! Not for everyone though. One spray is all I need. Umm. Not everyone in NY has it. Trust me, I ride the subways. 2020 has a bad year for my wallet. I have bought approximately 25 bottles plus the numerous discovery sets. Forget about trying to save commuting money! 2021 I might just go cold turkey. Good luck to me.
