LOL, How much are we talking in price...... "It's definitely worth the price " :) Great video John, I like that battery and combiner but I'll stay Victron building my own batteries. But videos on rv tech are always worth watching, especially yours :)
Great video. Thanks. I wish the inverter was not limited to one leg of 120v going out. With this inverter you can only power half of your breaker box. Victron's inverter has two legs of 120v and it powers your entire RV.
I just looked this up, it’s almost $7,000.00 no wonder we got the politicians response, lol. I like Renogy, using their panels to upgrade my rv solar. Going to try another inverter of theirs too. First will try the 3,000 pure sine wave, my last was DOA out of the box. Others seem to have good success with them. If that fails, upgrade to the $700 model with built in charger?
This is to funny kind of ironic I set up the security system for Renogy almost 8 years ago. I have spent countless hours in that shop. As for the system I would like it more if it was a 24V system. When you get up to 800hr you really need to be at 24v.
Just for knowledge, it's not the size of the battery bank that determines if you need to go to 24v. It's the size of the inverter that matters. You could have 1600ah of batteries and only need a small wire if you were only powering a light bulb. 3000w/12v=250amp. This system will only pull 250a from the batteries regardless of the battery bank size. All that being said, I'm a big fan of 24v and also wish this system was available in 24v. They would have to add a 24v-12v converter to the system.
24 volts only applies to the size of a Solar array..Once you reach 800 watts. You have to think about going 24 volts. Just to keep the Array sized right...And the reason for the 800 watts cutoff. You reached 60 amps. Which is the cutoff for most MPPT controllers to manage.. So the bigger the battery bank. The bigger your charger has to be. 20amps for every 100ah battery is the normal specs..
I came really close to getting the Rego system of batteries for it's plug and play features, but...ultimately decided against it because I don't see the point in paying for a self-heated battery. I don't plan on camping where daytime temperatures are below freezing so I doubt it would ever get used
Great option for a new system install, but the footprint and cost to upgrade an existing system to lithium seems high compared to drop in Renogy batteries with a bluetooth shunt and disconnect switch wired to existing components.
Since this was 10 months ago, is it available? They must be politicians, how much does it cost? Well, this is high end stuff for people not worried about the cost, it’s just worth it, lol. (No answer, lol),
Hello, I spoke to Renogy and here is there response: "I wonder which product your follower want to order? The coupon code can be only used for Deep Cycle Batteries and Controllers"
I love those battery cables, they are a beast. It shows how large they need to be. For my 3,000 watt inverter I made 4/0 as well.

Appreciate the comments, glad you find value in our videos!! Victron is an OG, hard not to love that brand too!

Great points, maybe Renogy will see you comment and fix that!!
Great video JT! You spotlighted a great new system by Renogy.
Thanks, yes pretty cool system!!
Great video wonder if there is any lag time if you are hooked up to shore and loose power,
Great question, not sure. If you call Renogy, they are very helpful!

Thats too cool, nice facility they have!! I agree 24v, that would be a game changer!

Yes I agree, plus it all depends on your power needs!

i is this mppt 60 a plug and play better than the rover 60 mppt?
Hello, all depends on what you are trying to do with your solar system, reach out to our friends at Unplugged RV Solar and More: unpluggedrvsolar.com/
The Rego sounds great. However your discount code shows as not valid.
Thanks for the heads up, I will get on that right away and get it fixed!!

How much $$$ are those components?
Have not checked lately but A LOT!!!
So what was the cost George ?
Btw awesome job on video.
❤
Thx!
Oh สุดยอด Big Like. See you again 💕
Thanks for watching and the comment!
The fact that he wouldn't give a price means it cost to much.
Could be!!
