I imagine my person is currently in recovery - dealing with their past trauma and baggage and preparing to welcome me into their lives. Which is great since that’s what I’ve been doing for the last 3 years.

I know you mentioned your partner being a few years younger. In Europe it can be quite common for younger guys to take interest in older women (I know you’re not much older than your partner). Did you find it the same way in Mexico? That younger guys have a more liberal attitude towards women who are a few years older? I thought it wouldn’t be that way as I’ve heard there’s a machismo old fashioned attitude down there but maybe I’m wrong
I’m 10 years older and I am not quite sure if that is normal here. Doesn’t seem to be. My partner has 0 machismo. I have heard of it but haven’t seen much in Merida.
