Great video. thanks! I will add that as someone who has solar, I would say your advice for someone living in a dorm is more appropriate. I have free power, up to a certain amount. Then I'm paying just like anyone else. Even if you put up an array dedicated to your mining operation, you'd be capped by your daily production.
Thanks for another informative video! Interesting take on mining, and unlimited hydro helps. I stick below the 1440W total on a 120A circuit, so it's all GoldShell and IceRiver for me. I'll let you know when o bump me up to the "unlimited budget" category. 😉💸
I made this mistake and it's complete stupid thing to do buying asic, Just buy GPU they will last way longer than Asic. My 6 ks0 pro earn 1.50$ a day for the 6, and use 600watts. My 8 RTX 3070 earn 4$ a day for the same 600watts and if i overclock more i earn more, So i will never buy asic especially for the price we pay it's not wort it.
None. You're just chasing Roi... With the budget you spend on asics or mining in general, are you really not able to gain a profit of 25% or more in a span of 6 months with direct investing? While you may roi with asics if you're really early, what is the value of the asics itself after 6 months? It's like 1/4 to 1/3 of its initial release average.
4:38 About Solar; the intention is good about the free power, but I have to say that you should add the solar requirement for that asic as not all solar installation can cover 1 or more asic, and afterward, you still have to pay for the electricity for the night if not enough energy produced during the day 🙌😇
'if youre in an appartment you dont have much money' is by far the dumbest, and brokest thing ive ever heard anyone say. and be 100% outright incorrect.
@@smolpuff is that not a fair assumption considering home ownership is the majority of people’s net worth? Look at net worth of home owners vs apartment dwellers and you’ll see what I’m referring to.
@@ModernMiningHubIll have to disagree with you good sir as the only viable argument for apartment vs villa is the space to run these miners.. I’ve got an AL0 in my apartment and a few full size asics given for hosting so I can benefit from lower electric rate and not bother with the noise and space it takes.

great point that makes complete sense!
The right ASIC Miner for me, is the one that will make me the absolute most, while spending the bare minimum least amount of $$$$

These price wars are definitely throwing a wrench in the equation.
@@chrisgauch5169 no doubt. I’m not buying any more until things settle out haha

Totally agree long term Gpu’s are better. However that’s the highest profits gpus have been in months so just something to think about.
Can the earning even go lower?
How many do you have?
Wdym the last longer?
Can they stop working?
Umm, how old is this video? KS5L was doing $11.76 a day back in mid Aug. It's averaged under $2 for the past 2 weeks. Not a good idea.
Interesting takes!
