In the original Tomahawks and Burton are the best counters. Comanche spam from 2 airfields can be good too but USA needs to be in a very good economical position to make this transition, a few don't help when GLA mixes in quads. Laser is kinda forced to go Comms as it has no Toms.

If only I knew this game would be casted I wouldn't have played as Kekbiter lol. I am known as Kerbiter in the community and Hau is actually Haubibban, all our team is from Russian C&C community (and sgor00 is a renegade lol). Cheers for casting though.

GLA is way to OP in this Version
Those buggies definitely got an upgrade in maneuverability, and fire at max burst rate even when kiting.
compared to the original this buggy most likely had more rate of fire i think

Explosive gameplay. Mod is amazing. I tried old version and to my surprise the new beta 0.3 patch works well on my Ra3 disk copy. I have installer saved.

@Heartless Angel Ketsueki They outrange most stuff, they're faster than anything, they're highly effective against whatever would counter them that's as fast as them and have nothing to fear from infantry who they can easily outrun. They're cheap, they're great against all buildings and vehicles. There's nothing to be done beyond catching them in an airstrike if that even survives approaching them.
Have none of you guys actually played ZH, it's not the buggies fault there was no strat center/avengers and no ecm outpost for China

@Heartless Angel Ketsueki the buggies only feel overpowered because there's no proper counterplay which is not the buggies fault but on the dev not understanding the interaction and not putting them in. If you did play you would know that the tomahawk doesn't one shot a scorpion tank like it does in this video and that the only reason the range is short is because the tomahawk missile actually tracks the target unlike how the v3 rocket in RA3 doesn't track, hence why the shorter range and the angled firing arc so that it can actually hit the target

well, the buggy's look a OP AF...they shouldn't be able to fire while moving with that kind of damage.
To be fair, they didn't implement things like laser defense (Paladin, Avenger) for USA and ECM for China which counter the buggy here... so... yeah... it's probably OP until they get those units into the game.

Generals ZH is absolute bordom with all the Humvees and boring strategies .... as much as strategic depth in vanilla generals .. there isn't much xD

ZH is an execution heavy game, a US player can win a game with just one group of Rockvees, yes, and a GLA player will often make lots of Quads, stuff them into tunnels, while they harass their opponent with technical raids, as well as overpowered call-ins, but there is a lot of attention that goes into managing those things, if they are just played straight without micro, they will die. What may seem like a winning strategy in the hands of one person can fall flat on its face in the hands of another.
The one flaw of Evolution is that it's kind of a spammy game? Take the rocket buggies for example, instead of a group of five, carefully micro'd Rockvees, you got like 23 rocket buggies, that are straight up expendable. If not the buggies, there's China Overlord spam and such, it's less about individual units having a big impact as they come in, and more about snowballing, mashing armies against each other. I believe that this is what Sybert means about depth, Gen Evo is closer to C&C Remastered than the original Gen.

It's just that alot of ZH players play USA very robotic. Mixing USA armies can actually be super strong.
China actually requires very methodical play and alot of mixing in vanilla already.
GLA offers quite some variety too.
ZH is absolutely amazing on high level.

never played this game I only watch youtube videos, but damn those rocket buggies are op; too fast ,long range ,great damage feels like I'm watching someone who cheats.

Pitty there is no "Vanilla" generals, only the Zero Hour ones, also China does not have mines around buildings (like bunkers) and no double red guard production :(.

You could check Origin/Steam for the game's requirements, I'm not sure if the modders have a separate list or not.
I love this mod but have no one to play with
rocket buggy's can be countered by air power so not even sure why US didn't aleast have some to chase them down when they noticed the GLA player was spamming them also lol that USA player cost the team that game in the 2nd match quit right away just lol

in my opinion quad cannons are not supposed to take down tanks that easy even if they are in huge numbers . they are anti_air in the first place and anti_infantry

@@Alexandermedo1 ah, you mean as a game unit. I thought you meaned about AA in general. Then yes, they are a bit too good.
After playing a few games I can say everything is great except for the aircraft as they just move very awkardly probably because there's only VTOL mechanics in RA3. I think the devs should just sub VTOL versions of the aircraft like change F22 to F35 or something like that. and having no guard command makes defending with aircraft not that great.
The Vindicator makes little circles when idle. It's funny because the Airbase has a tiny runway in the middle, but the planes come up directly from the hangers.
bruh why didn't the USA player build aviation or even avengers? bruh they totally counter buggies and battle bus not to mention air general has stealth fighters and the china player also didn't build ecm tanks? like why? china got MiG, their napalm bombs could literally wipe those buggies out even if they're escorted with quads and battle bus loaded with rpg troopers, they're fast enough to deliver their payload before going down that could've atleast give them a fighting chance
