Hello, I come from the future. Do you think The Corrupted Seven would make for an acceptable substitute to Defender's Cannon, or would the drop in damage make it too difficult to beat the boss in the amount of turns you have? It does hit more times total (34 hits vs Cannon's 20), so proccing the Ice Scythe would be damn-near 100%, and the 5% boost could do... something?
You can try using it, it might rely on getting enough crits. The 5% boost is okay, but less noticeable for ChaosWeaver. Since you already have 200% boost (175% gambit + 25% overcharge), the net increase wouldn't be that much. From 3x damage to 3.05x dmg, the relative increase is technically 3.05/3 = 1.017 (1.7%). Anyway, you can try the trinket, or you can replace that turn with the slice skill (which will make shred skill do more dmg after it).
@@simeondf4977 Mustering sufficient damage without the 400% off the cannon proved difficult. Ended up having to resort to using Aegis for his -20 to Ice, which was problematic because it ratcheted up Engineer's damage. Had to remedy this by skipping Gambit on turn 1 and hard focusing the Defense Drone with Snap, Primal Fury and Aegis' basic attack. Can't say it's a great strategy, but it can work. Fortunately, it allowed me to miss the Dragon stun and have Aegis to cover with his own once Engineer's immobility was dropped. Still less random than dealing with Daatael's random buffs (one of which revives his damn allies).
Depends on your class and purpose. For questing maybe 200magic/200prot/200mischief. For the inn, most classes will probably want 199 prot / 200 assistance / 200 magic / 1 fighting. Some classes in the inn like ChaosWeaver, don't really need the +bonus buff from assistance or don't really benefit as much from the 25% boost, so instead they can use 200 magic / 200 fighting / 200 prot. Most bosses in the inn are stun immune, so mischief is not recommended, but for the ones that have at most 100 immo (like engineer), it might be worth investing in 200 mischief.
@@simeondf4977 Plz if u can have time an tell me what are ur stats on ur dragon rn, i like the way how u did it an i'm still trying to figure what stast points on my dragon. But if u can tell me what stats u put on ur dragoon in this video that be great an a big help to me plz.
I agree that it is being overused recently, but my channel is just focused on showcasing the ChaosWeaver class. That's why I created it initially :) Though, I might make inn videos with other classes in the future
@@CaptainRed1000 Honestly, while I don't have any means to make videos. I personally like doing challenges and Exaltia tower with classes like PDL, Necromancer and Death Knight. Eventhough they aren't exactly boss classes (with the exception of pdl perhaps) It's great fun to beat them with those
I honestly feel the same way, though on perhaps a bit bigger scale. Namely, I'm tired of bosses with either ridiculous or dumb mechanics (Like getting ridiculously stronger not even that long into the fight) that all but necessitate cheesing or nuking it. Because of this, it's almost always Chaosweaver, Chaosweaver, Chaosweaver. So far, I've only seen like, three other videos that did Apex's Engineer without ChW. Done with DmK V2, Technomancer, and Underworld Epoch. And the first is basically just nuking again.
Thank you!!! I didn't have the lucky hammer but was able to finally complete the Apex. Two more times and I will have the weapon upgraded :)
That pet dragon hit harder than me :3
that trinket is OP
its really hard to obtain tho
Gratz 😎👍

@@daniellazic8500 You can find information about the build and items used in the description. All of my videos contain that info.
Not a fan of the number of people using nothing but ChW to beat these recent challenges. Like, we get it guys, ChW is super powerful.

@@simeondf4977 Wasn't commenting specifically on you. Other Dragonfable content creators are just as guilty.
