So $250-$300 in cash. My hourly was $12 and after 3 months, I was bumped up to $13. I must say though, they’ve hired too many drivers during the fall and winter. So my cash tips haven’t been as much as before. It dropped to $75-$150. Still, something is better than nothing.

Earning a lot of money doesn't go out and buy non sense "STUFF" or to show off that "You made it". I believed in staying humble, living in a modest lifestyle, and giving back to the community.

I will work 10 hours (or more some days) and not have a single break. I am not complaining, its not like I don't eat. etc. I still do, just do it while I am on a run. Also as far as taking them another drink, we call them first, to tell them we are out of whatever they ordered, if they don't answer after a couple of attempts, we will carry every type we have in that size in our car and tell them upon delivery, sorry we are out of this drink, you have a choice of X, Y, or Z, or I can get it taken off your order.

I can't do that. I have moral and ethics. And I been there for 10 years+. If I stand around during slow time, I would look bad in fr0nt of other employees.

On our downtime, we would stand outside and talk smack to each other and laugh. The restaurant was really small, so we couldn’t stay in there all the time. Unless on slow days. We would clean, take phone calls, etc. Good times over there and the money was really good at the time

I would considered WalmartSpark with Uber. It really depends on how big ia your town... big town = more deliveries = more rip. Small town = less delivery = less tip.

I read that Papa John’s makes drivers go off the clock before going on a run, so you’re not paid your hourly wage when you’re on the road, only the tips you get. Is that true?
It must depend on the state. I literally just got hired as a papa John’s driver. There is an hourly pay rate when on the clock in-between deliveries (minimum wage per that state). However, when you go out for deliveries (in Ga) you are NOT paid at your hourly wage. You’re strictly tips.
I was making like 100 dollars a day on average for dominos up until they hired 2 more drivers now I'm looking at 50 a day on average lol time to go work for papa John's
