H2O - Just add water is about three teenage girls who can transform into mermaids.😮
After a night bath in a lake, everything is different and as soon as Cleo, Emma and Rikki come in contact with water, they transform and get a mermaid tail. After further experimentation, the girls also discover they have supernatural powers over water like boiling or freezing water. They try to keep their secret from everyone else which makes their everyday life anything but simple. 🧜‍♀️🌊

It still amuses me how realistic the tails look, especially those from seasons 1 and 2! I know they were heavy and swimming was a hard work, but man, the effect was worth the effort. Tails from Mako Mermaids were lighter and more comfortable (especially since season 2) but they didn't look so natural.

@@natashav3442 when you have 30+ people as a team around you when shooting something like this (a Disney movie, with millions of dollars for a budget) it shouldn't be a problem if you can or can't move on land with the tail. And they could move with the tails in the water, they were extremely strong swimmers and they worked really hard on that.
