I don't feel as many people had studio recording equipment in the early 90's. It was a lot less neccessary, since if you didn't have a record label, the only cd's you are gona sell is at your shows. Now a days 13 year olds have awesome sound equipment and can put fucking anything on their youtube.
this song was recorded in the studio of UC Berkeley, they were snuck in by one of their buddies who was studying there. that got us robbin the hood and many studio quality bootlegs
well, he's right about the quality somewhat. Same goes for I aint no prophet and other songs. Would've been 100x better if they'd made a studio vers, too, as these songs have their charms.
FUCKING SUBLIME! the best shit is the jams no one hardly knows about. you ask a fake sublime fan what their favorite song and it'll be something like "santeria" or "what i got" but ask a true fan of sublime their favorite jam and it will be a song the average person hasn't discovered yet.
Music is subjective a real fan likes the band and will appreciate others liking them if they're attributing to their success, regardless of what their favorite song. Odds are your favorite "underground" songs are old reggae covers or different covers combined. There's a reason they call him the Boss DJ. Obviously there's people who will be more knowledgable about the band, their history, and know more songs that don't get played publicly a lot those are your die hard fans and sadly a lot are douchebags because they have a hard time understanding they aren't the only ones who like sublime. Brad would want us all to be together and love and honor the great music he put out his brief time on this earth.
I've given this band benefit of the doubt regarding covering Descendents. They are awful. I'm bewildered as to why people like this clinically lame shit.
past couple days i've spent hours listening to Sublime stuff I never heard before. there is way more than I ever realized. and it's mostly all amazing
Great cover of descendents
Super dope!! Awesome quality man! It's nice to hear the great Bradly RIP
Bradley always has you by tha hook you think the rides over but it just keeps going making you peek at different times the hole way 🐟
you'll always drunkenly stumble on all kinds of Sublime shit and be like woah, this is rad, cause sublime is fucking rad
Legendary

I like sublime but the descendents version is better
Good effort, but yeah this is more or less a piss poor cover.
they always sounded like this live. they halfassed their own songs but only because they were drunk.
@@A2Z83 they were probably just messing around in the studio
Wow they butchered this song. What a shame.
This is garbage. Gimme the Descendents!
