And we are here on this plain (earth) like a dark land, which us covered (swept) with confused danger signals( alarms) of people when they face struggle, or they want to run away from the destruction.... It's covered (swept) with armies who don't know or understand the reality (hence the term 'ignorant') that love, peace, prayer, well being, happiness - all these attributes are needed to survive lives on earth.
Basically the last 3 lines in The ISC book Reverie means we are leaving on a dark land covered with ignorant people who know only to fight, flight, struggle at war, where even the nights are not peaceful, to sleep to dream.
