You really nailed the rigging on the characters so the characters feel more realistic, the lighting really adds depth to the setting that the character resides in, the 2-D hand drawing sequences are on point, and the leveling up gimmick adds a whole lot of mystery to what the characters are truly capable of. OH BOY, this is peak as heck. It's rare for sprite animations to go THIS DANG HARD. I was barely aware of what was happening for 90% of the time, but I loved every second.
holy shit hv. this is insane. in an incredibly good way. godd im just gonna go through everything i love about it through a yap fest. the music choice is amazing, the whole "anime" feel do it does it miles. aswell as the kanji in places such as the intro. the voice lines that the characters have when they speak adds to the game replication which is an amazing idea. really does feel like a gameplay rn. something i've noticed and love is the color palettes for each of the characters. they go great together and capture the characters vibe which is something hard to do. they also go good with the other characters color palettes, making the interactions between people aesthetically pleasing aswell. fight animations are really goddamn hard to make and you're over here nailing them and then some. seeing this thing slowly be built has been amazing. im also loving that i get sneak peaks and extra media lol. but fr your hard work and dedication is so admirable, and im so proud of you man. from your good pal max😋
my god - the fact that this was animated on flipaclip alone is just INSANE. goes to show people don't need to blow all their money to make top tier animations. AMAZING STUFF DUDE

Oh man, this feels really nostalgic, I remember the MegaMan sprite animations I'd watch all the time when I was younger, excited to possibly learn more about the new characters and the world.
So this is a sort of future where Sonic is dead? Very interesting, i found the Sonic's statue part very hype personally. Love how there is a sort of RPG system implemented with levels and skills, makes it unique and interesting. My ONLY criticism is that sometimes the music used didnt fit the scene completely but tbh is just a minor thing. Characters are very interesting and im looking forward to how they can possibly evolve and grow. The hand drawn parts are CRAZY and the animation is impeccable. Ah ofc the best part is my blue explosion :)

I'm a sucker for game-based stylizations, like the End-Of-Level results screen, so I just had to share my compliments and my thought process behind the level system! This episode was kick-ass! Enigma - Level 1 "Oh ok we got levels!" Vita - Level 33 "OH SHOOT she's definitely really strong! Wonder what the max is?" Soverign - LEVEL 1000 "WHAT THE- What level would Shadow be then?!"
Okay I got to say that was bit impressive. Almost at the level or close to exores or space peas level, though I do have some issues. I'll start with the negative: I felt like the animation was too fast and there was too much on screen for my to focus on, I barely caught any glimpses of what enigma was fighting, and some parts were still to rough. This is an issue I'll coin as the roller coaster effect or the ping pong effect. The is trained to focus on something, but when that something zipping around too fast, the eye trys to follow it the best way it can to see what is going on. Try to add in more EASE in the speed and body movements of the characters. Because I kind've felt a tab bit naughtious trying to keep up. Another thing that bothers me is the text boxes. I'll be frank, I DON'T know these characters(sonic fc's), so its kind've hard to tell who is who when someone is talking, and the text gose by too fast for me to read at a decent pace. Is it possible for future episodes to have text boxes with someones face on and the the scrolling like how mark haynes animates text? Those are pretty much my complaints for this episode. The positives however, despite my complaints about the animation being a bit jerky to watch, I can at least see the effort put into it. The action is pretty good too, it just needs some adjusting here and there. Also the characters, I barely know them in some aspects except 1 or 2, but yeah a story not based around metal sonic turning into mecha sonic or metalix, no going to marios world to ask for his help, and wrecking the place, no real cross-overs with other franchises, and aside from shadow being present in this story as an older version of himself, no other legacy characters make an appearance. It feels original. and I'm curious to know where the story is going. My score for this ep for now is 8/10, but I'm hoping the series gets better going forward. Looks good, and wishing you the best.

Well actually just one, the whole "level" based property. I just, don't really like something that is RPG-game related in terms of the whole leveling process or how they have health bars. It makes me wonder and question things such as what happens when the health bar reaches zero. Or how do they grind EXP, like do some of the side characters, just be power hungry and commit mass genocide. Or are there other ways to level up or whatever. Now, I don't know what else to say that isn't positive. For the positive thoughts, also I hope the people/(or you) reading this don't mind the terrible grammar or explaination. Or the longevity I make it out of it.. I'm not there for the attention or most likes whatever, I just wanna leave out an honest review of this fellow project! Now back to what I was gonna say.. I'm very impressed with the dialogues, likely the best principle, i'm an experienced roleplayer myself. Even tho I shortly retired several months ago, on the game I last roleplayed in and still remain present on it. The newer roleplayers are so boring, and having like 100+ (close to 110s) different OCs. With 60%+ being on my newer account and the rest from my older one. Sometimes the decent/good ones just, make an out of character (OOC) festival like always, just like everybody almost all the time. And seeing these dialogues made me very impressed, i'm more about combat (either abilities/haxs wise, but less good in terms of combat roleplay as to peak it you must know your anatomy which i'm barely knowledge about LOL. I think.. the most effective spot to target would be the abdomen, as it contains like ALOT of your organs, I can only name the intestines XD. Uhh sorry, less about me since I don't wanna make it longer and time wasting.. : sob : Being that experienced, of several years, learning from others on some different games over the past several years. Those dialogues are REALLY good, like i'm not saying i'm bad at dialogues. But it's like one of the main principles in a story, or roleplay whatsoever. Whoever wrote those, great job!!
