Thank you for all your tutorials! I realize this is your hand stitching video, but it's because of you I still have a sewing machine. I was beyond frustrated with it, but watching your easy to follow videos I'm starting to get the hang of it. I learned a lot (besides sewing) in this video. I never knew scissor fobs had a functional purpose. I thought they were just meant to look pretty. I love the tradition of putting a penny in for luck. I'm going to have to start doing that. I don't think it'll keep my frogs away, my degree was in math, but somehow skipped counting😋 Your stitching is beautiful. Thanks again for sharing!
I love that you made this a free pattern! It is so darn cute - I love it. Instead of a scissor fob I'm going to use a larger count and make a small pillow.

Thank you for all of the tips and tricks! Not everyone has a sewing machine or wants to drag it out for a small project. Finger pressing the fabric is so simple but effective. I had forgotten all about the quilter’s knot, so I’ll have to practice that a few times in order to remember. Drapery weights went on my shopping list:-) Shelly
That was so good Vonna! I can see that since it’s so tiny and fiddly you don’t want to sew right sides together and turn it! And with the finger pressing, you could do it anywhere. Thanks so much. I’m going to have to learn the cording technique.

I have some Christmas ornaments to finish so I'm going to try this method. I did four of them last year using the sticky board but that can get pricey (since I have about 31 more to do). By they way....pretty nails! Enjoy the day!

I never knew the reason for a scissors fob. I thought it was just a decorative do-dad. Great tutorial.
