I left mine pretty much stock, except all the chrome, I made it flat black or black chrome..... I think it was called ghost chrome, except exhaust. This is the bike I had to get rid of before loosing my license....it goes from 50-85 in a twist of the throttle in 3rd year........ I never got caught
I personally love the thunder of the pipes. Guys just need to be who God created them to be. And if a motorcycle is part of that dream, then just do it. Women love to have fun. It doesn't matter what kind of bike. If all you can afford is an 80's model and it runs, get it. Wives hate me when I ride my bike to church because they won't let their husbands buy a bike. It's kind of funny when I walk out to the parking lot after a service, and catch people checking it out. Hate? Oh yeah. Envy? Yep. It's 2 for 1 after church. The only reason some guys hate me is because their momma wouldn't let them have a dirt bike when they were 7. Then they say to their wives: "She's got One!...Why Not Me????" It's hard being a Christian woman and getting the Stink Eye from some fat angry preacher who wishes he had one. Then he gets up in the pulpit and screams the sermon at the congregation. Lol. Jesus take the wheel.
That is something like I would have rode back when I was young and dumb, so it is a kids bike, when you get to be old like me you want to ride something like a couch with two wheels such as a full dresser, Harley Ultra Classic, or an Indian Chieftan or a Royal Star for example.
I am split. Between getting a Yamaha Stryker. Or and Yamaha raider. My question is. Which one do you recommend on a long road trip. I love to travel. And I'm looking for a good cruiser. That can handle the trip

the idea is to keep heat in the pipes to hopefully increase exhaust speed and while there may be benefits of keeping energy in the exhaust for turbo manifolds, all it does on naturally aspirated exhaust pipes is drastically increase (heat) stress and keep moisture next to that now weakened metal for a lot longer than normal.

The speedo onmy Stryker was one of the high points, My Brother loves it more than the one on his Harley, I had a Harley FLH.
