That is the most preposterously large tower clock mechanism I've ever seen! It looks cartoonishly large!!! I can also see how it is a scaled-up version of a familiar (normal size) small wall-hanging cuckoo clock mechanism, since I have a few of the latter type of clock myself, and have worked on them. I would really hate to have to service this thing! It looks dangerous! Compare with practically every other real tower clock mechanism on UA-cam!
0:34 the worlds largest clock movement ? the ,,movement,, of the makkah royal clock tower(largest clock in the world) doesnt count, because...... watch it by yourself !
The worlds biggest cuckoo clock is in schonnak. It is pronounced schonk. They have to turn the sound of the cuckoo down because of the hotel across the street. I found it a bit of a dissapiontment when I visited it.
Triberg , I do not know if they are still there , but in Triberg you have the world's largest cuckoo clock store , 2 cuckoo clock houses and the Back Forest Cake Bakery . There is also a falls in Triberg , you have to pay to see the falls and pay admission to the 2 cuckoo clock houses . I suggest you to go the house shown here , but it is on the outskirts of Triberg , so you may have to take a taxi . The Black Forest Cake is different , than North American Black Forest Cake , it has cherry liqueur on it ,I like it . I also met the baker , whose grand father invented Black Forest Cake at the bakery .
Ahh. This takes me back..
There was no translator when we where there and my dad told us to look very interested and nod when they stopped talking

Wow, That's amazing!
Look at how smoothly the pendulum swings... I am now suspicious that it is electrically-assisted... any expert thoughts on this???
