I loved this group of judges I wish that cleen would have been brought back because u can tell where Ashley is focused more on the art than the tattoo and cleen is on the opposite spectrum then u have DJ which brings a good neutral stance in between them so you have the judges going in fairly

The brown on the pipe was a completely different tone.
The brown on the dog and the brown on the pipe are totally different browns. When they said it I was looking for it and saw they were different browns, then they started arguing about it. Is Ryan color blind? The brown of the pipe was nowhere on the dog.

Agreed. The brown of the dog was almost closer to the yellow side and the pipe was straight chocolate, and all separated by contrasting colors. That other one was cool but looked like a kid colored it
Dude it was almost like she hadn’t actually looked at the tattoo. Everything she said was wrong especially the whole hat being blue and the brown on the pipe and the dog. I’m so glad Kyle won.

Literally for the last 2 grudge matches Ashley said she would rock that tattoo but then gave her vote to the other person, lol idk if that was her attempt to be dramatic 4 the show but just struck me as kinda nonsensical

I love every bit of Josh’s work and I love every bit of Anthony’s work. It would be almost impossible for me to choose between the two artists. Both of y’all have such a great talent, I’d be so grateful to have both of y’all tattoo me. I’ve got a full sleeve and a half sleeve plus a full rib panel piece
Difference is Anthony is super calm, nice, more soothing. Josh is an arrogant piece.
@@brimlikethefish both artists are specialists in their own field and both produce magnificent pieces that can be enjoyed by the canvas for their entire life, could even be passed down from generation to generation.
Imagine being the dude that got Cleens master canvas chest piece for free, then walked in on an episode of redemption and got a free tattoo from Anthony just because he called him out, luckiest dude in tattoo history
Cleen Rock, Ashley and DJ are the best judges they have ever had. Each one is honed in on one aspect of the tattoo

Sketchy's was cool, but he seemed to focus more on the sacred heart rather than the tiger itself. Maybe if he just used the frame he had in the tattoo around the tiger, made it bigger and take away the sacred heart all together, than I can see that beating Mike
@@NP148 actually yeah I think that would have been a good alternative. It just felt like there was more to it I guess and I wanted juuuust a hit more with Mikes. Both were beautiful though 👏

Those bulldogs were awesome! Dissected that traditional bulldog for flaws, there was none!
The tigers chain is small because the people who chained him didnt realize how strong and powerful the tiger is
Can really say you really beat someone unless you beat them at their best. Beating someone at their weakness is cheap.
Kyle's bulldog is way better..more realistic and clean than cartoonish and alien glowing eyes..Kyle's would look way better with clothes than the other

Tim's Bulldog's eyes would probably look better not totally turquoise in my opinion with the colour reflected on top of the nose. The Iris white reflection small bubble shapes is meant to be a light source angled from the left kinda messing up composition. Plus Kyle's was a tough, cool & solid designed tattoo.
I'm sorry but i'm either colour blind or the brown on the pipe is such a different brown to the one on the dog, the pipe is a dark oakwood brown and he even shaded under it to cast a shadow and to SEPERATE the browns when on the dog, it's a nice light fluffy brown to show that it's a dog

Kyle did do better but his tattoo looks like a Boston terrier then a French bull dog. The judges weren’t fair at all because Kyle’s is way more pleasing and solid.
i think tim had a better illustration just bc when i first look at kyle’s i have to figured out what’s going on with the bottom of the tattoo

Americans never heard of realistic tattoos with shading and stuff?
I think ink master needed more variety in there tasks, I know they wanted them to do a lot of the same or close subject matter to judge but it’s not as interesting watching it that way, I wanted to see more individual styles, there’s a lot of skulls and animals in traditional styles or close to traditional. I want to see artist work and that means their art their styles.
Mike’s tiger lacks depth, the neck seems to run all the way up to the head.
Kyle’s dog looks like a Boston terrier.

I’m sorry but mikes tiger was not it man. Yes it was obviously a well done tattoo technically but it was just ugly af. Sketchy did amazing, his tiger head was so much more bad ass and yeah I know technically like line work it wasn’t perfection but damn it was beautiful
