I'm always amazed at Kanghyuns guitar solo 🥺 personally i like Eraser better than the other two songs in the album maybe bcs i could relate to the lyrics and the instrumentals are just brilliant they made the whole lyrics/context feels much more alive and probably that's why I'm crying right now. I can't help but notice how some of the phrase in this song are written in honorifics? I think they've never used honorifics in songs before, so I'm wondering if it has any special meaning or context... or just aesthetic? I'm curious.
This song implies that they want to erase the person at first - but then they kind of change their mind near the end? So maybe it’s the whole “we’re strangers again so maybe I should address you more respectfully instead of casually like before” 👀 -this might be me just looking into what you said too much LOL- but since you brought it up, I thought that was a really good observation

Using honourifics further places some kind of “distance” between two people - even if it is just that _one_ person who uses it. Haha not sure if that truly answered that question but I’m not too well-versed in linguistics 😅
