Very informative and good presentation. Thank you very much. I have one question regarding inkscape. I am a PhD student in Germany and over the last months worked myself into inkscape. Now, I want ro submitt a paper, but the journal wants Tiff or EPS format. As I understand inkscape correctly, I can only export selections as png file or save the whole inkscape file as svg file. How can I save or export my figuers as EPS or Tiff file? Thank you very much already!

Hi Philipp, there should be an option to save as eps file format as well as PDF. That should work for most journal submissions.
