I've watched your VDOs over many years; you have learnt a lot about teaching on camera. Well done Mod. this is your best VDO. 👏 👏
Thank you for learning Thai from my lessons and your kind comments. I hope you continue to follow our videos in the future. :)
Bob จะไปเจอกับ Jane แล้วก็ Tom แล้วพวกเขาก็จะไปซื้ออาหารแล้วก็ถ่ายรูปที่ตลาด
(I really said these words to Google Translate to get the sentence in Thai,/ still learning how to read/ write) -
Fantastic lesson kru mod! Hope to join your Zoom class soon. I'm from Malaysia 🇲🇾🙋♂️
Thank you for your kind comment. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed this lesson. Hope to see you in our Zoom class soon. :)
Thank you Kru Mod, I love your lesson. I live in India, accidentally I saw the language, thai, I loved and started to learn. It is very difficult to me, to study tai language but your class is very useful to me
Thanks for the great lesson Kru Mod. You're great at presenting what is difficult as easy. I like that you use new vocabulary(for me) such as "break up" and "to date" throughout the lesson.
I am happy to hear that this lesson is useful in your Thai learning.Thank you for your comment. :)
Very helpful lesson :) Also, nice blouse!
You have consistently good lessons. Thanks!
Very interesting & useful lesson, as always! Here's my solution:
BobจะไปเจอกับJaneแล้วก็Tom แล้วพวกเขาก็จะไปซื้ออาหารแล้วก็ถ่ายรูปที่ตลาด
I don't think it is correct. I would say : Bobจะไปเจอกัน (or พบกัน) Jane กับTom แล้วพวกเขาก็จะไปซื้ออาหารแล้วก็ถ่ายรูปที่ตลาด
👍👍 always watch your videos mod have subscribed to you for over nine years I think nothing changes always making a bit of magic me your videos I did see you once I don’t realise she’d gone to the same hotel we going to be in southern Thailand very excited I think it was sunny there a couple of days

Sawatdii ka Khun Freddie, thank you for your support. I am glad to hear that you enjoy learning Thai from my vidoes. May I ask where we met?
@@ThaiwithMod hi, I don’t remember the name of the hotel but it was in Krabi. The hotel was originally the Sheraton hotel but changed. Was a bit embarrassed to come up to say hello because I’m a big fan of yours. I’m on your email list as paul wise, Freddie is just my business name for Instagram. Thanks for getting back to me MOD and will carry on watching.
Good lesson, I love the grammar and the examples 👍
Great to see your new video ! Thank you and best wishes!
Thank you for watching. :)

That’s brilliant, many thanks kruu Mod. I not only learn Thai, but also learn how to be a great teacher ❤️👍
Awww Khun Paul, thank you so much for your kind comments. I am pleased to hear that. ขอบคุณนะคะ :)
Turtles generally refer to aquatic chelonians whereas I think tortoises is what was meant in the example question here. Americans may disagree with that taxonomic terminology in which case they are perfectly entitled to stop speaking English and adopt another native language. The answer to the question is the fastest tortoise is the Leopard tortoise with a top speed of about 1mph compared with the fastest recorded speed of a snail which is 0.06mph. this is pretty obvious when you think about it given the obvious size and locomotive advantages tortoises have over snails. A better question would be which is faster an elephant or a horse. The answer is of course it depends on the terrain and vegetation cover.
Thank you so much Teacher, I love your lessons, it is very useful and interesting. Please keep teaching more other the Connecting words. Good luck Pretty Teacher
บ๊อบกำลังจะไปตลาด เขาจะเจอเจ๊นกับท้อมแล้วเขาทั้งสามก็จะพากันไปซื้ออาหารถ่ายรูปกัน
ขอบคุณสำหรับบทเรียนนี้ครับ จากฝรั่งเศส

Kruu Mod, you and Kruu Pear do such a great job. This lesson was particularly helpful and well done. Thank you.
Sawatdii ka Kun Rob, Pear and I are happy that our lessons are useful in your Thai learning. Thank you for your kind comment.
Thank for information
👍📝 thank you Mod
Kru mod, you are such an amazing teacher and it is fun to learn with you. Your English is so great, I wonder your father might be an English native speaker?
Sawatdii ka Khun Elisabeth, thank you for your kind comment. I am happy to hear that you enjoy my lessons. :)
I am 100% Thai, my parents can't speak English well. I learned English from watching English movies, that's why I like to make role-play videos for my students to learn Thai, they can imitate the native speakers. :)
Your spelling of turtle and snail is wrong Khru Mod. Sorry, but I just noticed it. On the other hand, you’re doing a great job. Your English speaking is excellent.
Good lesson thanks
hello kru mod, first of all i would like to say thank you because your explanations is very well, it easy to understand. i'll try to answer your last question.
"Bob Ja bpai jer Jane gap Tom Laew rao gaw ja bpai suue aa-haan gap thay phap thi tlad"
am right? and im sorry i cant wrote thai romanization well
Thank you for your kind comment. I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed this lesson.

ง่ายเกินไปสำหรับคุณ Rabbie นะคะ :)
Thank you for these video..so i can learn speak thai very well
I am happy to hear that you are learning Thai from our videos. :)
You're hypnotising
Thanks,very good lesson
I really prefer this type of lesson which explain a word clearly with some examples, rather than explain the meaning of each sentence in the dialogue of the video. Because we can fully understand the word and use it at other circumstances. But I have a question for this lesson, how can "they" got pregnant? should be "mea kaw", his wife. 5555
แต่ละคนวิธีการของตัวเอง
Thank you.
As usual, very interesting and helpful lesson! Looking forward to "Therefore and so" lesson.
Here's my take on the challenge: 😁
บอบจะไปเจอเจนกับทอมแล้วก็พวกเขาจะซืออาหารแล้วก็รูปถ่ายในตลาด

good stuff
Hi mod (James abroad) told me I should watch your videos to learn Thai. So I have been to Thailand few times but know very little. So which videos should I start watching first or as you mention the zoom classes and do they have costs etc ? I plan to retire there in about 4 years and like to be able to speak and understand better than a biginner lol.

Khun Mod...I just stumbled upon your UA-cam channel today and I have watched 15 lessons (both you and Kru Pear) already. I have been living in Thailand for 6 1/2 years and all the Thai that I have learned has been basically self-taught using Google translate, English-Thai Lite Translator and speaking with all of my Thai friends and neighbors. My vocabulary is very large and my tonal speaking gets better every day but I was missing "practical application" of English language thoughts and expressions into Thai language. So far today, 14 July 2021, I have learned more from you and Pear than anything or anyone...not even my Thai wife who has lived in America for 15+ years and her English is very good. So...let me thank you both from the bottom of my ❤ heart. BTW - you two are absolutely adorable... which brings me to a lesson question: in Thai language there is only one word for beautiful (suai) and one word for cute (na-rak) and one word for dear (thii-rak) but most languages have many words to express affection with varying degrees of familiarity with friends and family. Are there other words or phrases in Thai that appropriately convey these feelings?
Khob khun mak!!!

Bob jà bpai jer Jane gàp Tom, léaw pûak káo gåw jà bpai séu aa-hãan gàp thaay-ruup dii dlà-làat kráp.
I saw the word และ in one of the IG posts about the current events in Thailand. I think it's from a news agency. I thought และ is a short version of แล้วก็. 😁
It is nice to hear that you learned what the word และ is actually used from this lesson. :)
Great video, very well explained. Good examples.

Excellent job except for the I write in the end😂😂 (เขียน not เชียน)
Thanks for the great lessons, I miss easier combinations. How often you say that someone is pregnant ? What is about to order a bread with butter and cheese or cigarettes and a lighter. Make more examples for normal use every day. Thank you
Thank you for watching and your suggestions. Useful everyday phrases are coming soon. :)
Correct spelling is: turtle and snail, Kru Mod 🙏🏼
Bob จะไปเจอJaneกับTom แล้วก็พวกเขาจะไปซื้ออาหารและถ่ายรูปที่ตลาด
ถูกมั้ยคะครู
ถูกต้องค่ะ
@@ThaiwithMod "...ไปซื้ออาหารและถ่ายรูปที่ตลาด">>งงแฮะ นึกว่าครูมดบอกว่า ใช้คำว่า และ ในภาษาพูดไม่ได้ ต้องใช้คำว่า แล้วก็? ในกรณีนี้ใช้ทั้งสองเหรอครับ :)
Another idea - first overview the three different words for ”or”, then go deep dive into the examples. This way, it makes more sense, because after 5 minutes of ”gap” you can’t relate it to anything else, so logic can’t work.
Bob จะไปเจอ Jane กับ Tom แล้วพวกเขาก็จะไปซื้ออาหารและถ่ายรูปที่ตลาด
ถูกต้องไหมครับ
ขอบคุณมากนะครับ 😁
I've often struggled with referencing past events in order. I hear many people use phrases like "พอทำเสร็จแล้ว เค้าก็..." and "ทำเสร็จบุ๊บ" I'd be interested in seeing a lesson on how to use these phrases with correct grammar, and where in the world "บุ๊บ" comes from because it always makes me laugh!
ทำเสร็จ "บุ๊บ" is just a way of saying and then or an easy way of changing the pace of the convo to explain the next thing that happens in the story being told. Hope this helps.
basically it's equivalent of English word Also
"Bob ja bpai jer Jane gup Tom, leaw gor puak rao ja bpai si aahan , leaw gor ja taai ruup yuu ti ta lad." Is it correct?
Good job! The last sentence you can say "ถ่ายรูปที่ตลาด tàai-rûup tîi dtà-làad" with out "อยู่ yùu".
@@ThaiwithMod Thank you for your reply :) Why is it no need to to use "yuu" ?
have you Telegram?

Sawad dii kru Mod. Trying to help a little bit, and will all respect to your great job....If we are asking between a Turtle and a Snail in English we say: Turtle "or" snail, which one crawls faster? or....Between a turtle and a snail, which crawls faster? Take note that it is clear what you are saying and the use of the "gáp" to connect 2 short things, just for your notes.

Thai people say luka mostly not laeo ka...
Speaking a rhotic dialect of English, like the majority of English speakers, “lêrk” for เลิก is confusing. I prefer the RTGS version of “lôek” like how เพลิน is “ploen” at the BTS เพลินจิต station. When a see “phlearn” my instinct is to pronounce this wrong. When I took a beginners course, I saw a lot of Americans and Canadians stumble on learning because of some systems using a silent 'r' from RP, and lacking rhoticity is a minority trait for English speakers worldwide.
Bob ja bpai pob gan Jane gub Tom leaw gaw puak kao ja bpai sue aa-haan leaw gaw taai-ruup tii ta-lat.
