For clarification he doesn't need to make jokes as the arrow when he's out in the field because realistically life and death situations are not appropriate for joke making since he has no powers and a very low padded suit so that's kinda dangerous but when he's in the bunker or at work I could do with a few more jokes. I also understand that sometimes the situations have to be super serious like with Slade, Ra's Al Ghul and Promethius but the other seasons didn't have to be as serious (apart from season one as he deals with PTSD and is literally a murderer.)
U say green arrow is better than BATMAN, batman beat the crap out of superman have a contingency plan for every justice league but green arrow doesn't stand a chance against batman so technically he is better batman is better

Yes! The next five years after the island shows his ptsd and him slowly coming to terms with it. Once he gets over that trauma, we stop seeing island flashbacks (He is also saved though). I feel like that's a nice conclusion to his pshye
imagine if they made a video game based off this show where the opening of the game is oliver leaving on the gambit and then wrecking into the island where it takes you through oliver’s challenges through the island and him making it home only to find out that his city is under attack by all of the villains in the show (death stroke, damien dark, adrian chase, etc) and you go through the game defeating the bosses with only your bow and arrow and skills you pick up along the journey, where you return the the bunker before each mission to go over what missions you’re going to do and what you need to do to prepare for it and what not, and the final part of the game is obviously the most bad ass part of the whole game…… just imagine
No one is undermining Oliver's struggles. There are some things that have to come to light. He cannot continue living without telling anyone what happened there.
