Not to mention how it would illuminate that the real issue is economic status, which, although unfairly systemically connected to race, is a more nuanced and humanized depiction. I know you might be thinking that's not as good, but if Chris Redd was just a regular guy working at the bank when this stuff is happening, it could be one more way for the sketch to be funny.
