This is way more catchy than I'd like to admit
@@Lecton123 Its not a propaganda and it cant even be interpreted as such its just a song about how great and fair communism must be from the point of view of an west german!

But he did :(
@@MangooPangoo absolutely. He creates jobs for the people who don't have the balls to get their own business
Krupp doesn't create jobs. Work that needs to be done creates jobs. I don't know where you got your idea from, but it's wrong
There are so many people in this comment section who are going through a stage
of guilt because they like a socialist song. Also, can people stop pretending that there is absolutely no nuance on the situation of the DDR? There were people (like my family who lived there) who were just living their lives like anyone else, this is part of their history.
They can't help it, they have been tought since birth that everything remotely communist or socialist is eeeevilll, at the same time they have been denied from actually learning anything about it that is not anti communist propaganda.
That’s exactly how communism lives on in the west. People hear the great communist music and go see what exactly the song is referencing.
@@marcelogonzalez8547 lol. The song is super nice. Yet communism is evil and more importantly stupid. It just doens't work and I pity everyone who seriously thinks it does.
Actually at the time where the song was made and overall East Germany, was far far a head of the West in term of Social policies. Be it all women rights, or basic living standards. ( from a person that today lives in the federal staate of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, that was a former part of east Germany)
Not to mention social services, LGBTQ rights, education, etc.
But people decided they liked Coca Cola and blue jeans more than quality accessible healthcare and housing so here we are now
@@slevemcdichael5274 That's cap. The GDR and entire eastern block certainly weren't keen on LGBTQ rights.
Typical American wishful thinking.
They were very homophobic and highly conservative when it came to how a family was supposed to look like (father, mother, children, everyone cis)
Weirdly catchy. Makes me want to have a socialist revolution while dressed like Kurt Coubain.
Hi could make Czechoslovak anthem in German please? It was casualy used during the First Czechoslovak republic, since many of our inhabitants were Sudetenland Germans. Greetings from Mähren 🇨🇿🤝🇩🇪

In an essay I used the word "Klassengegensatz", the teacher was impressed. She did although say that it means class opposition, not class contrast.
Nice XD Well it means that richer and poorer people are different in their class. It was as always criticism on capitalism.
@@dr.ludwig > Well it means that richer and poorer people are different in their class
en. [This is pretty reductionist (and wrong). Class first and foremost has nothing to do with money, but rather one's relationship to the means of production and the alignment of one's one interests with those of the bourgeosie.]

Chad Krause:
- Doesn't need food, has ascended through labour
- Can build a massive wall through a city overnight
- Economy can't collapse if there is none!
Virgin Krupp:
- Needs 3 meals a day to function
- Has to hire his workers
- Lives in fear of economic collapse, invests in Gold.
The thing they don't tell you about Kraus is that in his State you don't have the right to think for yourself and that state you can't have anything from the outside world you can't you can't listen to Rock or any other western music like hip-hop rap or anything you're into you don't have that Krause estate in his State you have to be content with sharing everything you have even if it means that the state takes away from you

Great music doesn't care for nationality or political opinion so
Also good man on changing it, youtube censorship on channels can be harsh
Kilroy ... nazional socialism, fascism, communism, communism in China ... all these “ism” have a common foreground. All start from the same dream to have a better world, not a world where 5% of people get the the same of the remaining 95% of people (read Piketty books please) ... the origin is the same. There are good things in all of them and it is a winner model of society, see China. These “ism” can be compared to the Christian Catholic, Protestants, Orthodox etc. or Muslim Sunni or Scythian different views. The WWII was a religious war between nazional socialism and communism, the communism wow and is now winning again as China is number one. You cannot reduce all at a silly word as you did. I started to think at this when in Wuxi, at a dinner, a member of CPP asked my opinion about the Nazi Germany and I answered I am a Nazi and he said to me: “... you are not wrong, we studied it very well, there were many good things at that time...” . The real wrong is the plutocracy now ruling the western countries... the democracy is good only when it is a “idea” but when you get it ... hummm, it is the worst way to run a country. Remember that in Italy when Mussolini was fired and hugged from the feet in Milan at his side there was a man killed at same time, the name of this man? Nicolino Bombacci, a founder of the Italian Communist Party and a personal friend of Lenin... ummmmmm these are facts! He was the one that wrote the RSI law of “Socializzazione delle Imprese” ...

What’s the story behind this?
Krupp was a monopolist who funded Hitler's regime and profited off of the war (Same with IBM and Ford), after the war his factories were nationalized in the GDR but not the FGR who basically let him keep all of his vast wealth and factories mind you that most of his factories, so whilst the people in the rubble struggled to get water running or get electricity back he was the richest man in Germany, Krause is just a generic name like john.
This is so beautiful.
The dynamic between Krupp and Krause is something I can never understand, because I never experienced Communism. My family, even though they understood it better, did not say anything about this dynamic to me, despite growing up in the Soviet Union. My great-grandfather, who survived the blockade of Leningrad during World War II, was a member of the Communist Party from 1958 until 1992. He left the party mere weeks after the Soviet Union collapsed, and he never told me about his understanding of such a dynamic. I was only a little boy when I knew him, and was more interested in his stories of the blockade. When he passed away in 2012, I wished I could ask him more, because it was then I understood what Communism meant for everyone. It is why we Americans fought against it, in hopes that it would not spread and could go extinct on its own. And now, it is dying a slow death. The Soviet Union no longer exists, Germany is united, and all of Eastern Europe has abandoned socialism. China's economy is capitalist rather than Communist, Vietnam has opened its markets, Laos pretends to be Communist, and both Cuba and North Korea are ruled by maniacs.
but the dynamic between Krupp and Krause is a capitalist one ? what you mean you cant understand it they even sing about how there are no more Krupps under socialism

Who is Krause?
Was wäre ein Arbeiter ohne Arbeitsgeber? Ein Arbeitsloser!
Genau.

I'm saddened by that too. Sure there's a political message in the song but we're not judging that.
