I LOVE the pumps with the 2 phase modes. Suck suck suck deep pull. Im wondering if you can do a video on pumps you know of that have this feature? Thank you Allison!
I haven't found a video regarding the suction test on the Zomee 2. Also, how do the Zomee Collection cups compare to the Legendary Milk Collection Cups?
@@NewLittleLife thank you! I guess just overall opinion as to where it may fall in your lineup of best portable pumps? I watched that one and the suction power video about 800 times!
Would you go with the zones or spectra s1 first time pumping and not sure what to get. Going back to work after 6 weeks and like the idea of having to wearable option
Does it remember the settings from the last pump or do I need to put the settings each time? Are you able to control the cycle speeds? Also, do you recommend Zomee Z2 or Ardo Alyssa?
It's between this pump (with the cups) and the Ardo Alyssa (which I would have to buy cups for, as theirs haven't been released yet) for me as my insurance pump. It's so hard to decide!
What i like is there adapter fits every bottle so far i try every bottle and it works also its so quite the only thing i hate is the minutes take so long i keep mines on 5 with the let down mode too keep mimic of my baby
I just ordered this pump for baby number 2 on the way and I'm really excited to try it! I was an exclusive pumper for my first and I was a baby buddha fanatic. I still plan to use the baby buddha, but because zomee was fully covered by most insurances I am so excited to see if it compares to the almighty buddha. The alternating suction is SO interesting and as someone who really struggled to have adequate supply the first time I am very curious to know if this will increase my output. Thanks for all your data on pumps!
Would you recommend a zomee or a freemie? Or do you think the lansinoh discreet duo is good? Im a cosmetologist at a salon. So with that being said it would be nice to have a wearable/discreet(or one that i can make discreet with cups) pump thats portable. So i dont have to be stuck in the only employee bathroom for 30 minutes pumping😂😂 i think me and my lifestyle would be happy with any of those options, but i guess i just want to know which one (i guess spec wise) would be best?
@@NewLittleLife also - do you know what the difference is between the Zomee Z1 & Z2?? I am having trouble finding that information & haven’t heard back from the company.
I got this one from my insurance yesterday ( finally they sent me a pump- yay!) and i actually like it 100×s better than the morif duo because it has a stronger suction. The duo even on the 1st setting isn't strong enough for me. I only use this pump on the first suction level and it's stronger than max suction on the duo. I wonder if i got a defective duo?
My duo has never worked for me. I ended up buying the baby Buddha with that child and I LOVE that pump. Looking now at what to get through insurance for baby #2 but don’t wanna waste my free insurance pick like last time 🥺
I got a Zomee through my insurance recently, and I have to say, I really really like it too! I've used the Medela Pump in Style, and this one is so much quieter and more comfortable! I love the two phase pump mode, and the feel of the suction. One thing I think would have been good to know ahead of time is that they don't recommend putting the silicone parts in the dishwasher. It probably won't ruin them right away, but just fyi to other mommas who like to have dishwasher safe pumping parts. (The silicone parts are a little "cup" that keeps milk from going up the tubes, and a silicone ring/washer between the pump parts and the bottle.) Maybe this is true of all closed system pumps---but it was new to me since I've only used the Pump in Style before.
There isn’t a specific setting that works best for everyone, it really depends on your breast anatomy, milk supply, how you respond to the pump, etc. Start experimenting and see what works best for you individually :)
I got this pump with my last pregnancy and let me tell you before this one I had only used Madela and I like this one better I pumped more with the zomee than the other one
The suction power is between medium high on the first level. It's strong without being painful. I think most women would use this pump on the first setting.
I have this pump and used it for the first time. It started extracting milk for a few seconds then doesn’t do anything to draw it out. Am I doing something wrong? Does the pump not have enough suction?
Wondering what type of bottles these come with and if they are interchangeable with Medela or dr brown bottles. I had the old pump in style but these seem wider.
They are compatible with a wide neck bottle - like spectra or baby buddha. Medela or standard dr browns bottles will only work with an adapter. Also - medela standard flange parts are slightly too narrow to fit these.
Where would you say this falls on your line up for favorite portable pumps? Also, would you go with Zomee or Buddha? Hard question, I know but I really value your opinion and need to make a decision soon.
Yes I have the same question! Zomee or Baby Buddha? My unimom minuet just pooped out due to an unfortunate water incident (loose tube sucked in water while washing dishes 😭). Loved it and have brand loyalty, but the baby buddha seems to be the hot portable pump. Let us know! Thank you and I love literally all your videos.
Baby Buddha is a great little pump if you like/want strong suction. It’s easy to wear and small too. The Zomee has some features the baby Buddha doesn’t, and a little wider suction range on the low end. Does that help??
@@NewLittleLife yes that helps! I do not need strong suction and don’t necessarily need ease of wear because I have the elvies (also thanks to your reviews and videos!). I went ahead and bought the zomee. Thank you! You are literally a celebrity in my eyes. Thank you so much for replying!
I have the option of zomee z2 pump or the Ameda mya joy through my insurance, and cannot decided which to go with. Would you recommend this over the ameda? I like how it’s rechargeable but I’m very new to pumps, I have a 19 month old and I’m due in November with baby #2 so I need something portable. I exclusively pumped with her and used the Mandela Pisa. I was a 17mm flange size but I know flange sizes can change.
this looks like the ncvi. are they made by the same company or is this different i wonder. think the model is NCVI-8782 . seem like they use the same parts. is there a reason to get one or the other?
I own both. My Zomee broke by my own fault and I thought the ncvi should be very similar. It is much, much weaker though. It gets super slow, when you increase the suction strength. I use it as my portable pump and it is definitely not a bad pump at all, Ijust like fast cycle speeds . I am considering buying a new zomee. Or a genie advanced…

If you haven't chosen. I have the zomee but haven't used it, but I do have the motif Luna and compared to the Medela pumping style Advanced it is insanely slow and sluggish.
