140 bpm is honestly kinda slow for him. His 150-160 range is solid af.
The doubletime on 90bpm is 180(triplet mode is 60+60+60). And that is probably around his easy mode vocal limit.
What good is words if all you hears is clickity clack at 190bpm lol?
@@shanewaters8518 Doubletime on 100bpm is technically 200bpm(eighth notes?)...depending upon how you view the subdivisions of music.
That can definitely be done...the question is whether or not someone should do so with word.
1/16 notes or even 1/8 notes sound better in non vocal forma(the vocals dance in the pocket), in my opinion. Unless the tempo is tenable. Then you kinda have access to the full spectrum of maths. Triple time and quadruplets need to fall below 160ish bpm I think, atleast for poetry.
Otherwise it is just too fast for vocals maybe? maybe then u just beatbox lol?

Legendary rappers that have called Harry Mack "The Truth": Tech N$ne, Ice Cube, and now Will Smith. Will Smith won four Grammys for rapping, had a hit show, and is a massive movie star. He literally created themes and memes in hiphop, and was the first big rapper to succeed despite intentionally NOT using cuss words or hood themes in his lyrics. He was the first rapper to bring hiphop into homes across the USA with his show "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", greatly expanding interest in the genre, and he's continued to do that via many of his movies. The man is a true hiphop legend. In 2020, Joyner Lucas gave Will Smith his flowers in a song called "Will", with a music video that is a great homage to Smith's career up to that point. Not long after, Smith released a remix of that song in which he responded and gave Joyner his thanks and compliments.
In this video, it looks like Martin Lawrence and Will Smith were perched on those chairs to do a series of interviews, not until the "Promo Days" that Harry participated in for the TMNT and Transformers movies. Those actors were probably doing interviews every 15-30 minutes, and getting a lot of repetitive questions. Then Harry Mack shows up, doesn't act like a typical reporter, and says he's going to rap, but off-the-dome with a semi-random beat and BTW he wants them to give him some words to incorporate into an off-the-dome freestyle. HM probably made their day, not just because his performance was so good, but because it was completely different from anything they expected. They'll both remember THAT freestyle.

Will and Martin filmed an interview campaign. So Random interviewers would come in, and it seems as if they were expecting just to talk (if you hear them at the beginning). Then, obviously, when Will Smith realized he was going to freestyle, he reacted the way he did. But I would think that they would have heard of him. But then again, it was pretty cool to think that they probably were just having an interviewer come in.
This was spot on. Harry was so on it with this. Crocodiles may snap, but true lyrical Power Dragon that Harry is, spits nothing but pure 🔥!

They also vastly improved on the sound quality of the Busking Series. In earlier episodes the quality sucked sometimes which put some people off

He was definitely making expressions I have never seen him make before. Maybe that was Will’s true stank face.
I'm not saying Will wasn't acting in some capacity. After all, this was a PR spot they were doing for their movie. But I think what happened was that at first, Will was caught off-guard thinking it was just going to be another interview and didn't know what to expect, so he was just giving back some awkward positive energy in support so he didn't come across in some sort of way that could be skewed negatively in the press. But then once HM got going, Will actually caught the vibe and became impressed, and his hype kinda blended together with whatever formalness he'd previously assumed for the interview

I love Will Smith. I was born in 1979, so I grew up on Fresh Prince. Who HASN'T wanted to slap Chris Rock once in their lives? Lol. Will is a proud man, in a very complicated marriage to a very.....complicated....woman...and a very sensitive (to them) subject. Of course it shouldn't have happened. But no person should be judged SOLELY on one act, but rather all the other actions they take in their lives other than that one bad decision. Unless he did something unforgivable, he deserves another chance. Just my opinion.
