Wow, that's because _she was vice president,_ lol. They're basically there in case the president dies, and then basically to run in four to eight years, typically, lol. On top of that, Republicans ask, "Why didn't she get all the things she's campaigning on done while she was in the White House?" As if that's some kind of awesome 'gotcha' question - it's not: 1) see the above - VPs have almost no power, and are really below cabinet members for it, and 2) Biden and the Democrats have really only held 1 of 3 branches of the government the last 4 years: the executive (presidential) branch. They need a thing called congress to pass bills in line with major reforms they want, and the SCOTUS to not be radical and override anything he or his party want.
Outside of the White House, he's had a largely hostile congress with 2 "Dem in name only" senators who refused to do what needed to be done - get rid of the ridiculous, stonewalling and non-standing filibuster - to get _any_ of Biden's major reforms passed. So he and the Dems have never really had that branch (legislative). Finally, and most egregiously, the SCOTUS has been overriding most of his executive orders, like student debt cancelation; prior Dem/left-based laws, with their Chevron decision; and went full "mask off" for Trump with their ridiculously _anti_ - constitutional immunity ruling.
SO you're saying you work beside her everyday for the past 3years, I bet your looking out the window right now counting the cats and dogs and geese. Did you know there may a sale on money at the dollar store 2 $10's bills for $20 bill today you better hurry down there they are going fast.

The young lady whom stated that 59% of murders that happened in Philadelphia were done by handguns and then went on to use that statistic for the country. The AR-15 has been the most chosen weapon to commit mass shootings. Therefore, something should be done to mitigate the assault on kids' lives who doesnt deserve their lives to be taken at such a young age. A ban would be great. France did this action in a matter of a week if that. Hand guns isnt the primary weapon used to harm a large number of people.

I will say she had another interview I was very critical of her, this one tho not only did I love the questions being asked by these 3 amazing journalists, I also loved Madam vice president's answers, these interviews are proving to be a boon for her and I very much loved this, I personally loved her wanting to pass a bill that will make it so medical bills do not appear on credit reports and impact credit scores , to me that is a banger policy proposal and one I was not aware of until this interview.
They missed follow up questions that I would expect any journalist to jump at. Make me wonder if they weren't allowed to. Or are they not good at their jobs. I'd like to think they do great work, this didn't show that though.

People have to remember when it comes to reparations Congress has to be involved because they control the person she can write executive orders all day long but there will be no money behind it. So other than making reparations an executive order on principal and words any type of programming would not be able to take place without funding. To me her opportunity or Lift Up Programs whatever it is that she's trying to do is a workaround that would be able to financially benefit us any event that we don't ever get reparations through Congress
But what are her answers of policy?

The whole interview was AMAZING. The top five moments are AMAZING! She's got great empathy, she's got great ideas - she had actual ideas, not just "concepts of an idea". Presidents need Congress to pass legislation to make their policy proposals a reality. An obstructionist republican Congress can stop the best ideas. People think they are being "smart" and "rational" by demanding policies from presidential candidates (well some presidential candidates - others they give a pass). But presidents also have to deal with events as they happen - I would rather have an intelligent, qualified, even-tempered person making decisions than an unpredictable, temperamental, orange, narcissist who worships dictators and is vulnerable to flattery letting others make those decisions for him. Sadly, she did not make any outrageous statements that will top the headlines for a week - she only answered the questions with rational ideas and actual policy proposals.

Shutting down our oil drilling and jacking up the price of oil which causes prices of every commodity to rise . Economics 101. NO she went on to talk about what she walked into but gave no answer as to how we are better off today than 4 yrs ago. Just a lot of rambling about how she was middle class blah blah blah. Thank you, Madam VP, to this panel of young reports, you did an awesome job. I am ready to see changes within our political arena, it's exhausting to continue to hear the same old sad song. We have real issues in our country, our children are not even safe in schools. Communities are filled with drugs which cause gun violence amongst other tragedies. The middle-class Americans diligently strive to make ends meet every day, despite the constant rise in our taxes, food, mortgage, health insurance, and other expenses. I would like to see a change, and for every individual to be afforded a fair chance at surviving in America. This is what our forefathers fought for, and it is what we as Americans strive for to create a better life for our families. Why is it so difficult to comprehend? We desire to see and reap the fruits of our labor. I am looking, forward to the changes our VP is talking about. I also want to express, that I will not vote for someone who doesn't like people who look like me and respect women as a human being.

So instead of using her executive powers to create a commission to study the case for reparations, she’ll rather wait for congress to create a commission if or whenever decide to do so. Okay… I’ve heard enough cause she’s not talking about ish and not going to do ish. Notice the interviewer had to ask her the question twice just to get any kind of answer from her.
She’s Vice President right now, not President. She works to support the President’s policies not her own.
Did you listen to the full answer or you just picked the part you want it. You do understand what that interviewer failed to mention which is why I thought it was a poor question is even if she doesn't executive order it literally will not get what reparations is meant to give. The reason that is that you still need Congress is because Congress controls the purse. So she is very well and our answer as a person who was formerly in Congress that you cannot just write an executive order and not bring Congress in on it or else anything you try to do if it requires funding will not get done.

Nobody’s questioning or debating whether if congress should be involved in the study and discussion, we’re asking why wait on congress to create a commission when she would have the power to create the commission herself, if elected, through executive order?
If she was truly concerned and sincere, she would just enact a executive order and create the commission herself and then let congress do their studies and have their discussion about the issue. But no, she rather waste time and put the responsibility on someone else to do something she could do by herself.

That question insinuated that there is something she could actually do through executive order which keeps being said about Biden as well. It's not a deflection from the very specific question. The question itself was flawed. Her answer was on point because what are we still studying. If you paid attention to her when she was a Senator she fully backed it being a study which there was one it's called HR 140 or hr40 I can't remember which of the two but it's one of those. Her point was now you have the studies to see how you're going to implement it. The question was flawed because it made it seem that by doing an executive order that was going to move reparations in an actual sustainable way. Her point is that Congress do it because if Congress does it then their means there is money behind it. Just sign an executive order that's not going to get any true reparations done would be the slap in the face.
