I feel sorry for Becky in that period of time when she was taking medication. It was obvious that she wanted just to go home and sleep.
Becky was living in HER home state. Surrounded by HER friends and HER family. Amber has nobody. Becky could have left Albert at ANY time and had all the support in the world. But she didn’t. She decided to stay on because as miserable as her life was, she didn’t have to get off her ass and get a 9-5 job. amber paid for her entire existence and she didn’t have to worry about bills or food shopping or money. Which is all she complains about now.
She chose to be a victim. She literally could have driven off and gone to her mums or sisters house and sorted out everything else with her family present. But no. She liked playing the poor miserable me role.

Can you imagine walking through a store the whole time being an accomplishment?
If someone had something happen and they couldn't go outside then did after a very long time, or if someone had extreme anxiety.. or a germaphobe. In her case... I can understand it, but I do not appreciate it.

Amber needs to save the money she buys on journals, makeup, jewelry, purses, etc, and work on herself first. That’s what people see.
I almost want Amber to get married and see how tacky her wedding would be. She has that gaudy flair that would translate horrifically. Like for centerpieces: fake plastic diamonds on a mirror with her roses and babies breath in clear vases with more fake diamonds adorned with ribbons covered in rhinestones. Not hating on the glam vibe at all. It can and has definitely been done and look amazing, but it wouldn’t be worth the effort for her. I could see her being like “it sparkles, it works. It’s blinged, it works”

I will say, I worked at a children's clothing store in high school, and if I saw a 14-15 year old grabbing those youth sizes, I would be so confused. But also, some adults would fit into a 16 to match with their kids. 16 is just the largest youth sizing, so it's for bigger kids (taller, broader, fatter, etc.).
What I think Amber's assumption missed is a lot of straight-sized adolescents would transition to "adult-sized" clothing before needing that largest sizing in youth with a transitional stage through Hollister or Ambercrombie or, a silent tear for elder Gen-Z, Aero. Not every kid's gonna use a size 14, and a lot of fat kids will have that awkward launch to adult sizing before their peers just to find something that fits.
So Amberlynn asking that question to Destiny sort of plays off this insecurity that Amber might have about having to be in those sizes at 11, or maybe even at 9-10 for her. To say "That's for 11 year olds" is not necessarily true, but if she asks it like that, Destiny wouldn't say "That's not true." So in retrospect, Amber gets to think of herself as a normal size.
God, I knew working at the Children's place would pay off 10 years later... to psychoanalyze Amberlynnn Reid.
Also, people saying "Well, it's the name of the size, so it's the age of the kid" would be a phrase I heard and would try to intervene because that's how we get returns. The only sizing that's about age is the infant sizing, which doesn't always align either.
"Oh, it's 5T, so it's for a five year old" I swear to God, if you don't want store credit, you will just ask your sister what size your nephew is.

Okay but anytime someone puts on one of those masks or those big mascot heads what my mom and i used to do was walk by those kinds of people and say "I think thats the one i sneezed in" but seriously from our gorls hygiene habits in this timeline and her touching physically everything she finds "sho cute" all those germs that have either transferred or died on amber are now in that mask with sweat, dirt, grime, germs along with many other individuals.

I just want to put this out there. I’ve lived in 6 states in my life...(my husband got transferred for work a lot). I went to school in Lexington KY & I would move back there in a second!! My two favorite places to live were Lexington KY & Colorado Springs. The people are so friendly in Lexington & it’s a beautiful little city. It isn’t backwards at all!! Maybe in other sections it is, but that apartment Big Al lived in, in Lexington is going to be hard to beat for her. I guarantee she’s going to miss it there!!! Then again, she didn’t really do anything except shop & eat. 😆

Im Sorry but I would be so embarrassed if I was morbidly obese and young like her and riding those carts at Walmart . I personally believe if you can walk, then you should walk. I think the carts should only be reserved for people who have missing leg(s) or if your really old .
I use them sometimes when I know I can't do too much walking, but I have heart problems. Majority of the time I walk I hate using the carts it moves like an elderly person would. 🤦
so, im relatively young and have both my legs. i do have a nerve condition that causes immense pain when walking. make fun of this gorl for using one because she is ridiculous, but please understand that young, fully limbed people may need the scooter. i hope you never have to use one to go about your business

Had to have minor surgery to remove necrosis and was ordered to walk strictly as little as possible for a few weeks. I'd have to ride in one whenever my mom went to Walmart and I would get the nastiest glares from middle aged women because they couldn't see through my jeans
there's nothing wrong with using them for pain because that's mostly what they're for. if someone truly can't walk they would have brought their own scooter to get into the store.

I have a physical disability I was born with where I have a leg discrepancy- a very large discrepancy and it causes a lot of pain in my lower back, knees and hips and I still walk when I shop…. Why can’t amber walk… it’ll do her good

There’s a lot of cool stuff to do if a person has imagination and interest in the outdoors. But that’s not our gorl! Too bad, she could have done some interesting stuff in Kentucky.
