I love this guy. All of this stuff is new to me. It’s embarrassing and it’s frustrating and a little humiliating, definitely emasculating, i’m grateful, though that I have a wife who I can talk to you about it, but these videos have been incredibly comforting and educational to watch. Had around 6 or 7 banding sessions in about a year and my hemmoroids are gone now. The feeling after the banding sucks but it is always better to deal with that then the pain after surgerie. Thank you for your videos friendly proctologist 😊

Just had 3 internal banded yesterday a lot of discomfort i cant sleep i cant get comfortable at all i did have colonoscapy to determin issues i am guessing not all discomfort is from the banding alone as going to the toilet did not hurt i am thinking the scops may be the cause as i know they go deep. Had a chrono Reagan done, it's a syringe instrument, not sure if that viewing scope was involved. 1st benibg very successful. Only hurt 4 hrs after. But 2nd bending hurt 6 days. That doctor insists everyone has 3 hemorrhoids and I got 2 big ones out of 3 needed bending. Another other doctor then says I have 2 or 3 more to bending with her same device as yours to do. 1st doctor says what I have left after his 2 bending was hypertrophie papillas. 2nd doctor says I dont have it. Only 2 or 3 more hemorrhoids to bend. Now did my 3rd by this 2nd doctor. I guess the gun can tackle bigger size while the chrono regain syringe only handle smaller ones.

Banding is only temporary, they come back. It just delays how long you can live with it until the inevitable. Since banding only works for grades 1 and 2, and most people don't even know that they have grades 1 or 2, would you recommend that everyone should get their hemorrhoids banded even if they don't know that they have hemorrhoids?
I will be making a video on the CRH O'Regan in the future. I believe it is unsafe, ineffective, and marketed to practitioners who are NOT specialists. The company making this device are trying to sell it to offices so that anyone and everyone can do hemorrhoid banding. Problem is, these health providers do not UNDERSTAND what they are doing. It's horrible what happens to these patients I have seen.

My doctor has used and been trained on both traditional banding and CRH and he prefers CRH but again he has real world experience with both methods. You are just making assumptions based on material you viewed on the internet.

I can I have some advise I have hemorrhoids for 4 years now I've been to so many doctors they just prescribed analsol and over the counter creams. The piles doesn't go away it doesn't even go in when I use anasol. The piles that I have is external, painful and itchy and bleeding I went to the hospital but the doctor say he can't see the hemorrhoid so I just got pain pills and anasol again. I had a banding done, was in pain for 7seven days but the hemorrhoid never fell out. It seems that it got bigger how come it didn't work. I my doctor now isn't available until mid June. Why did it now work. Can we possibly try to do a second banding.
theoretically, then can. But banding is NOT indicated for external hemorrhoids. RUN AWAY from any doctor who advertises banding external hemorrhoids. It will cause a great deal of pain.
i have had a small hemrhoid for the last 2 month it flares up every other day but it never goes away , no bleeding just inflamation swollen will they be able to remove during cigmoscopy?
thanks for sharing. It will depend on several factors but not limited to: who is doing the procedure, is it internal or external, the size of hemorrhoid, etc. The best thing to do is ask the doctor performing your procedure. Wish you the best.
@@yourfriendlyproctologisti just in for a cogmoscopy from a hospital referal, i got 2 banded hemsroids done and said i had a fissure that was healed, but the problem is i never got to speak to him i seen him for 5 seconds the the anast,, kicked in when i was done the nurse told me what was done, no second apointment nothing. now im getting swelling in the pareneal line going in my anus on one side its been like this for 3 months now on and off, hard to believe the hemrhoid is causing this for so long, i called the office and now have an apointment for march seems unfair waiting 3 months for nothing thenanother 6 month to see him

I just wanna share my experienced yesterday for this type of procedure I had mine yesterday. typically they'll get the biggest one 1st. and I'll go back again after a month.. it is painful for me but for others depends on how low or high ur tolerance pain. after I took tylenol I felt better 24hrs later I felt nothing but great!
Doc, I have a question...after the banding procedure are the hemorrhoids till going to come out when you poop like after a day or two ? Is that normal?
I got a colonoscopy and 3 grade 3 haems banded. The largest haem had a few bands put on it. No real pain after the banding but strong urge to go toilet. 12 hours later i went to the toilet. After pooping my haems prolapsed again. Then 2 days later i pooped again, and they prolapsed again. Does this mean the bands fell off? Or the procedure failed?
And how you doing Now??? I had mine done 1 week ago, My bands fell off early i thought, however 2 days later my hemmy fell off and no more bleeding or swelling as of yet. Hoping mine worked
@@kranch173 4 days in the 3 haems still prolapse. The strange i noticed is that one tge haemes i can still feel and see the band. But its strange, its not at the base but the tip of the haem. Its either nearly slid off but got stuck near the tip of the haem. Or this is the large haem that got 2 bands: perhaps one band is in the base while the other is at the tip?
@P I have my own thought. I have had my fair share of banding failures. At the time of the banding, I hemorrhoid shrinks back and not prolapsed at time of banding. So when banding you only band what you can or can be pulled/sucked in. This leads to the failure.
@@kranch173 thanks for your feedback, i will give it another day or so to see what happens and then call the dr. Yeah it does sound weird that i can see the band on the tip of one of them. And i even wonder if the other two are banded at all as he claimed. He is a young doctor, but still i thought banding was an easy procedure to perform
The scope is used to view the inside of the anus which can still give good information overall. I don't do it every time, but in certain instances it can be helpful to make decisions. Rubber banding should not be done on outside hemorrhoids.

I have an internal bleeding hemorrhoids. I have lost so much blood from it over a couple years that got me very sick and I didn't go doctor long time. Had to go er and my hemoglobin was so low that they had to be admitted at the hospital get blood transfusion. Now I need this procedure done to stop the bleeding that I almost died from. Today August 21, 2023 I just had two internal hemorrhoid banded, I did ask my doctor to give me an Exparel injection along with the other pain injections, the surgery began like around 12:10pm and it is 8:28 PM and the injections have numbed my anal area, I have no pain at all as of yet. There are multiple factors involved with success rate. If it is an appropriate hemorrhoid and an experienced provider, the success is nearly 100% in my experience.
If your roids feel as excruciatingly painful as mine...You will feel liberated, not violated. I didn't like the idea of a dude coming at me with that jurassic looking butt pincher..I felt so fuggin relieved after the pain was gone (I had Percocets)....I wanted to buy the Dr a drink.

My doctor said it can get rid of current ones. However diet, laxative\fiber and proper poop consistency will\can prevent them comimg back.

the banding does hurt a bit. I would definitely call your doctor for a visit if you are concerned.

THD and banding can't be compared as the THD is a surgery and the banding is a minor office procedure.

I can I have some advise I have hemorrhoids for 4 years now I've been to so many doctors they just prescribed analsol and over the counter creams. The piles doesn't go away it doesn't even go in when I use anasol. The piles that I have is external, painful and itchy and bleeding I went to the hospital but the doctor say he can't see the hemorrhoid so I just got pain pills and anasol again. Is there anything I can do to get rid of my hemorrhoids because I'm already on a high fiber diet like the doctors recommend any advice please?
I do 3-4 sitzbath a day. They do help but it takes time. Good luck

Based on what Ive learned. They can grow back from surgery and banding has the same chance but they are less likely to grow back.

I have internal hemorrhoids and after having suppository treatment and it being unsuccessful, i now have an appointment scheduled with a specialist to have it removed. My question is how long after recovery time do u have to wait until its safe to have intercourse? And will intercourse cause any pain towards the healing process?❤ Thank you for the insight. I had a banding done, was in pain for 7seven days but the hemorrhoid never fell out. It seems that it got bigger how come it didn't work. I my doctor now isn't available until mid June. Why did it now work. Can we possibly try to do a second banding.

theoretically, then can. But banding is NOT indicated for external hemorrhoids. RUN AWAY from any doctor who advertises banding external hemorrhoids. It will cause a great deal of pain.

@@yourfriendlyproctologisti just in for a cogmoscopy from a hospital referal, i got 2 banded hemsroids done and said i had a fissure that was healed, but the problem is i never got to speak to him i seen him for 5 seconds the the anast,, kicked in when i was done the nurse told me what was done, no second apointment nothing. now im getting swelling in the pareneal line going in my anus on one side its been like this for 3 months now on and off, hard to believe the hemrhoid is causing this for so long, i called the office and now have an apointment for march seems unfair waiting 3 months for nothing thenanother 6 month to see him

My doctor recommended that i do the ruberband procedure. On these groups of hemorrhoids, how can it be done? One hemorrhoid at a time or do all at once? Which one is best?
It will depend on the size of the hemorrhoid and your doctor. Have a thoughtful discussion with your doctor before the procedure.

I just wanna share my experienced yesterday for this type of procedure I had mine yesterday. typically they'll get the biggest one 1st. and I'll go back again after a month.. it is painful for me but for others depends on how low or high ur tolerance pain. after I took tylenol I felt better 24hrs later I felt nothing but great!

I got a colonoscopy and 3 grade 3 haems banded. The largest haem had a few bands put on it. No real pain after the banding but strong urge to go toilet. 12 hours later i went to the toilet. After pooping my haems prolapsed again. Then 2 days later i pooped again, and they prolapsed again. Does this mean the bands fell off? Or the procedure failed?

I had mine done 1 week ago, My bands fell off early i thought, however 2 days later my hemmy fell off and no more bleeding or swelling as of yet.

@@kranch173 4 days in the 3 haems still prolapse. The strange i noticed is that one tge haemes i can still feel and see the band. But its strange, its not at the base but the tip of the haem. Its either nearly slid off but got stuck near the tip of the haem. Or this is the large haem that got 2 bands: perhaps one band is in the base while the other is at the tip?

I have had my fair share of banding failures.
At the time of the banding, I hemorrhoid shrinks back and not prolapsed at time of banding. So when banding you only band what you can or can be pulled/sucked in.
This leads to the failure.

And i even wonder if the other two are banded at all as he claimed. He is a young doctor, but still i thought banding was an easy procedure to perform
QUESTIONS ? .IF THE HEMORROID IS ON THE OUTSIDE, DO YOU STILL NEED THAT ANUS SCOPE PIECE ? OR COULD YOU JUST USE THE RUBBER BAND GUN.?
The scope is used to view the inside of the anus which can still give good information overall. I don't do it every time, but in certain instances it can be helpful to make decisions. Rubber banding should not be done on outside hemorrhoids.

I have an internal bleeding hemorrhoids. I have lost so much blood from it over a couple years that got me very sick and I didn't go doctor long time. Had to go er and my hemoglobin was so low that they had to be admitted at the hospital get blood transfusion. Now I need this procedure done to stop the bleeding that I almost died from. I'm very scared to do.

Rubber bands can come off 1-3 days after the procedure. If you don't feel right, definitely contact your doctor.

Today August 21, 2023 I just had two internal hemorrhoid banded, I did ask my doctor to give me an Exparel injection along with the other pain injections, the surgery began like around 12:10pm and it is 8:28 PM and the injections have numbed my anal area, I have no pain at all as of yet. I do not band grade 3 hemorrhoids. Definitely ask your doctor and let them know you are having this issue.

There are multiple factors involved with success rate. If it is an appropriate hemorrhoid and an experienced provider, the success is nearly 100% in my experience.
