Thanks for the helpful video!!! My 2012 Kia Sorento widow switch panel did the same thing as your car button did. I saved a lot of money watching you do this before attempting it myself. Initially I thought it just the 1 screw in the handle well. Never imaged I had to take the door panel out to complete the job

Not sure if you can find a replacement for that, Probably those switches soldered to the board. I still have the old one, I will take it apart and let you know. come back to this comment later to find out.
I got it from a local dealer, if you are going to get it online be aware there are 2 types as I remember, one that with auto up and down for the driver window and another like in my case just auto down for the driver window.
My 2013 sorento i replace driverside window switch and motor. But now driverside window button operates backwards. I push down window goes up. And the other buttons push down and they open.
Strange ... is it genuine or aftermarket? if genuine, is the connection can be flipped and go the wrong way? I never reached it so I am not sure how does it look like but it must be made to go one direction. If it is aftermarket, then the maker did swap the positive and negative pins (saw that in many aftermarket parts such as sensors from BOSCH), you can confirm the issue by disconnecting the motor and connect it in reverse using a jumper wires. in this case either get genuine one or make a conversion for the connection port so it can have the right polarity when operated. The motor is simple, if you connect it in reverse it will work but in reverse, so double check there I am confident something went wrong there by mistake obviously.
The new part quality is slightly WORST. The list of problems of this model is endless, Engine, Transmission, Rear Differential, HVAC, ...etc. Had my V6 engine block resurfaced, long story for another time but in short "Engine overheated and blown the head" No Warning, temp needle was normal. Keep an eye on actual engine temp, not just the Gage on instrument cluster
But why cause yourself a half hour more of work? There was no reason to remove the door panel. It would’ve took 5 minutes if you only remove the switch.

The only thing I can think of you connected the motor backwards somehow, double check the wires on the motor side.
Honestly there’s no way i did that. I place new motor exactly how the old motor was place.

They had a LOT of problems with this switch. EVERY kia woth this switch has a problem. Did they improve the deso to fix this viral issue ?
