    I make these every week as crackers. Exactly the same recipe, except I cut them in the end into 4 crackers. Then I put avocado, tomatoes, salad, whatever on them. They're so good!

    The one vegetable I have a hard time with taste is bell pepper, yes even yellow and red. I just can't get past it. I keep trying it. I was so excited to see this recipe except for the yellow pepper but I am going to give it a try. Hopefully it will not overpower the taste as this recipe looks great. BTW, love all your videos! I'm slowly making my way through your online lessons as well. Thank you for all your sharing and making raw food preparation look easy. :)

      Hey Betsy, no problem. If you find you don’t like the pepper you can leave it out.

    Thank you for this video and recipe Russell. I'm assuming that is Amy in the video. I love that she scored the batter before dehydrating, it makes a polished product afterwards.

    Are these supposed to be a bit chewy inside rather than crispy all the way through? I've been dehydrating many many more hours than stated, thinking I'd get to a point where they'd be crispy enough to break, but they remain chewy inside, and instead of breaking, they bend and I need to rip them apart. Is this how they should be, or if they are supposed to be completely crispy, any idea what went wrong? Followed the recipe exactly.

      Were they too thick? Spread thinner is all I can think of.

    • @therawchef
      @therawchef  Рік тому +1

      Spread a bit thinner. But you may also want to turn up the dehydrator for these to get them really crispy. Not strictly raw, but still way better than anything fried.

      I recently found out some frozen corn is blanched. I’m wondering if it was in this recipe

    Amazing , but two questions , why frozen corn ? whats wrong with tinned ? And can I just use baking parchment if I don't have those excalibur branded sheets?

    • @1voiceCriesOut
      @1voiceCriesOut Рік тому

      I think canned is fine just have to rinse to remove the extra salt...if u dont want the saltiness🤷🏾‍♀️ Frozen corn is just fresher...since it's flash frozen and canned may have been cooked/heated...

    Hey Russell, I noticed you left the screen on top after you flipped them for the 2nd round of dehydration. Is that to prevent curling edges?

    All corn now days is genetically modified and according to the Medical Medium should not be used. Use at your own risk. All so all frozen corn is blanched and not raw at all.

      Corn being a grain...blanching is not that bad as far as raw goes 🤷🏾‍♀️ but if you're strict RAW I guess this recipe wont work for ya.
