So, this means if Madrid had taken a loan at for example 7% interest rates during hard times like COVID, Real Madrid can go take another loan on 3.5% rate is and pay their old loan back and cut back their interest rates. So, Real Madrid can convert its unhealthy loans into relatively healthy ones.
Bad news is that if you've a bad financial health like Barcelona, nobody is willing to invest in your organization so you'll have to attract investors by offering higher interest rates. For example if market rate is 5% than you'll offer 7%. Now the problem is that Barcelona has already a lot of loan to payback so you'll have to get new loans at even higher interest rates. So, here it's opposite, Barcelona will be replacing their unhealthy loans with even more unhealthy ones.
Need of the hour is that Barcelona should avoid bankruptcy, do minimum spending and try to win treble after treble to build back the confidence in the markets.
